Charming ,authentique hotel in small village. So nice! Very kind host. Good food (the schweine braten was delicious). Room was clean. Shower okay, and beds comfortable. Only 10 minutes from the autobahn. We hope to use same hotel on our next trip to Italy.

Comfortable, simple accommodation in the area with a warm, friendly, helpful owner. The breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The owner suggested some nice walks for me to do in nearby Roggenburg. The restaurant looked very popular. Overall, I felt there was a personal touch when I was in the restaurant or asked for help. The owner went out of the way to make sure I was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great atmosphere, spacious room. We travelled with our baby twin daughters and that worked perfectly. Very friendly staff, good German food, good breakfast and the rooms where clean. We can really recommand this place and we hope to be back in the future when travelling to Italy

Breakfast? There was no breakfast. All there was was a MacDonald's, and thank god because none of the local taxi services had ever heard of the hotel. The kitchen was OK, but the stove could use some instructions' the SHOWER was a dream. I could have washed driveways with that water pressure. If I turned it all the way up, the pulse setting sounded like the minigun on an A-10 Warthog. The place and the sheets were both sparkling clean. It was weird sleeping on two pads though, and I sank in the middle. Minor nit
