The hotel is located very close to lots of tourist attractions of Chiemsee area and still manages to be in a very quiet and cozy location. There are many different walking and biking trails which go directly from the hotel. The hotel is nicely equipped with comfortable room and bed, very nice sauna area and great swimming pool perfect for taking a dip after a day of sport activities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the food very tasty. Try the Spargel! (asparagus).
The hotel has towels for the pool and sauna already (no need to bring anything) and bathrobe can be rented for 6 EUR.

Lovely hotel. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with lake view.
Set in Prien am Chiemsee, within 42 km of Max Aicher Arena and 35 km of Erl Festival Theatre, König Ludwig Stub´n offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as...
The location is quiet: despite the St2095 road in 700 m to the south being visible, it isn't a major noise source, even during the daytime. Slept with a window open with no issues.
The apartment was well-equipped: the bed was reasonably firm, the kitchen had everything one might need, no unnecessary decorations.
The balcony and the road to Bad Endorf have a nice mountain view.
The apartment is reachable by foot from Bad Endorf station (1.8 km) without big issues, easier than we expected by looking at the map.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, room and bathroom were clean und spacious . We had a room overlooking the courtyard but you can still see the lake from the balcony.
Breakfast was good, hams and cheeses were fresh and of good quality. The hotel restaurant was fantastic, every item came with a salad from the salad bar...a lovely spread!! The food was great, everything freshly cooked and not at all pricey. We paid more at a Trattoria where the salad dressing was not self-made.
I give a thumbs up for this hotel
It is a suitably big size of studio, with a private bath and a private kitchen. The train station (Bad Endorf, almost exactly between Munich and Salzburg) is quite close (around 5 minutes by walk) and there are Lidl & Edeka in 10 minutes by walk. I enjoyed staying here very much!!
it is a family run hotel on a scenic lake. it is a bit far from Bad Endorf, so without a car or a taxi it would be problematic to get there. Breakfast and sauna were good. most importantly staff was very friendly and helpful. thank you.
Just a very average hotel. Nothing special, not sure why the rave reviews.
The bathroom will get very wet after a shower due to poor design.
Breakfast very limited choices, just normal.
It's ok for short stay but not wow for me.
The hotel went out of their way to accommodate an unexpectedly late check-in.
The room was luxurious. Breakfast was excellent.
Close to the train station.
