Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly! Lovely location on the edge of the Altes Land region southwest of Hamburg. Beds are quite hard, which I really liked.

I booked a double room for one person, so I had lots of space.
The room was very clean, and everything was perfect. Sound reduction of street noise was brilliant.

Nice, old pittoresk town, very near Hamburg.
Nice, old pittoresk town, very near Hamburg. The 'gateway' to the Altes Land, Europe's largest fruit farming area. Lots of bars, ice cream parlors, restaurants. Good shopping area downtown, with lots of parking and enjoyable pedestrian area. Great for families, relaxing, shopping, running and cycling (hardly any hills), dog walking, picture taking...Car ride to Hamburg just about 30min; by train a bit longer.
As a place to stay on our way up and across Europe this hotel was ideal. Although it is on a busy road, our room was at the back and was quiet, with a view over fields. The food both at supper and at breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the bed comfortable. I couldn't easily have wished for more.
There are not so many options of hotel in Buxtehude, so this one was the best we had found. The Hotel has a very good structure and is very confortable. Although the reception is not 24h, the staff left our keys inside a locked front box and had coordinated with us the instructions for our late arrival
Super great host. The flat itself is just perfect for remote working and also for spending relaxing times. Buxtehude is a wonderful city to walk around, green places and rivers around. Recommended!
We loved the location everything was within walking distance; the town of Buxtehude was so charming. The staff was very helpful and friendly which made it a good experience. Would love to go back!
