We had a lovely few days at Divers' Paradise and would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Bocas. The room was well appointed and clean. Location excellent (5-10m walk from the water taxi stop, 10m to the main strip, 15m walk to the airport). Great food and service at the restaurant.
Sadly didn't have time to dive, but they seemed very well managed (staff, equipment, etc) and I hope to dive with them in the future.

The environment, in the middle of the nature and the staff. The staff is very kind, they clean, change sheets and towels every day. The ladies at the breakfast are also fantastic. We saw monkeys and birds every day. We have free filtered water at the hotel.

This place is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which we could watch for hours, you might spot dolphins! Right from the start Feder and Remo couldn’t do enough for you, extremely helpful with anything you need, days out, boat trips etc. Every single meal is amazing, it’s all fresh produce from their garden or local and you can really tell, I think they should do a recipe book because I’d buy it!
The surrounding grounds are beautiful, the trees and palms are stunning and bring in wonderful birds.
If you feel this is too quiet one day Bocas is only 30 mins by boat and any day trips are available. We’d love to come back one day, it’s a bit of paradise.
Thank you Remo, Feder, Yu and Marcus.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and hot water worked well. There is a vanity table with a mirror in the room and a side closet for hanging or storing things. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to store my luggage prior to the room being available.

There is road construction EVERYWHERE.
There is road construction EVERYWHERE. We had no problem with their shared taxi, which means you will have several people squeezed in with you, going more or less in the same direction, but with the construction, many times your cab will not be able to reach your destination. This is Mexico 40 years ago.

Charming tourist town with friendly people and great choice of restaurants. There was a lot of construction and construction noise on the Main Street during our visit which prevented us from exploring the whole town.

If I was 25 and wanted to drink all day, it might be the place for a vacation. Lots of bars and clubs. I food is ok if you can get pass the barkers in the street. If you get out of city central, you can find some lovely beaches, but they are packed with people. We stayed in town for 5 days and two days on an out Island. Be prepared for many of the three- and four-star hotels have no AC. I have traveled all over the world; this would be on the bottom of my list. They haven't taken care of the environment or the waters that bring people to this location.

Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town,...
Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town, as it can get muddy and there's currently construction in town for a new sewer system. While the locals can be a bit assertive and follow you around offering you tour options (and drugs), they'll back off if you say no thanks. Do not drink the tap water and ask for filtered water stations (I also stuck with beer & wine versus mixed drinks with ice). A group from my hostel rented E-bikes which was the right choice to visit Bluff Beach, which made for a great afternoon.

Right now the streets are under construction….
Right now the streets are under construction…. And I mean ALL the streets. It’s tough on the tourism industry for that reason. There may not have been as many people visiting as there normally would be at that time of year. However, don’t let that stop you from going. It’s a fantastic place to visit. So much to se and do. Excellent restaurants.

Bocas del Toro is an overestimated island, public infrastructure is awful, with mud, and potholes everywhere, very difficult to walk and get anywhere. Prices of the hotels and restaurants are slightly exaggerated in my view.
I love the new renovations just beautiful at Bocas Paradise . The staff here in the reception and in the restaurant are beyond outstanding they treat you like they have known you for years not just days . I just love everything about the property the design the great air conditioning and the most comfortable bed . It’s in the heart of Bocas town centrally located you will love it !! I was excited about their shower as it is just the best . I am impressed and you will be too . it’s beyond the best to me !!
This is an amazing hotel that stands out as one of the best that we ever stayed at all over the world. The location is amazing right on water and in an area that is quieter than bocas town yet close enough by water taxi. Snorkeling can be done right at the hotel where you can see a lot of beautiful fish and even starfish. The owners are amazing and so helpful in figuring out the best activities. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are updated and very beautifully decorated.
The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the center of Bocas Town and just across the street where se take the boatos to do the tours through the islands. The room I stayed in was basic, with a bed and bathroom, but everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom was small but functioned normally. And the owners, Lucas and Sylwia, were always very helpful in everything. And the coffee they serve in the cafeteria right below the B&B is great, I recommend it!
If you’re looking for your own patch of paradise, then this is the place to go. It’s an isolated resort with beautiful beaches and few people.
We stayed in an over water bungalow and loved it. We were planning to do excursions, but found we just enjoyed hanging out on our private deck.
We also visited the nearby beaches, which were virtually abandoned and very private.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved chatting with them.
First said: It‘s a really nice place!!! The location is stunning! It‘s just reachable by boat! They pick you up when you arrive and you habe your own hut on the water!! You can snorkel right there underneath! Equipment available at reception, not in best conditions but alright! The huts are really cool! you have so much space to hang around that‘s really cool!!
most of the staff was suuuper friendly!! the guy offers help if you want to book a tour!
It’s a chillout place with a wonderful view from a huge terrace overlooking the sea. The best view for a morning coffee we have during our Central American trip. The owners are very nice and helpful, we could check in a few hours before the scheduled time. The island is beautiful and we were so happy we decided to stay there rather than in Bocas town, especially that there are roadworks there all over the place.
Ania was an incredible host and her property is wonderful! Right on the water, spotlessly clean and only a $1 short water taxi to the town. There are also some great restaurants and bars within walking distance. I loved sitting on the deck and relaxing by the water and it was wonderful to fall asleep to the waves outside my window each night. The air conditioning was a welcomed and necessary luxury!
Everything. The best location in Bocas del Toro, close enough to Bocas Town (only $1 taxi or 5' cycling) but not in the middle of the noise.
Sharon and Mark were really kind and helpfull. They gave us great restaurants recommendations and even organized a private tour to Cayo Zapatilla. Breakfast is great and room views are stunning. We loved it.
This hotel is no longer Azul Bocas town. It has changed owners and changed its name. It is not a 4 star hotel. Closer to a run down 2 star. Badly run, not clean. Dirty floor. Broken curtains. Peeling wallpaper. No drinking water in the room. Staff pleasant but not helpful.
- Very friendly and good spirited staff!
- The room was small, but comfortable enough
- Good price / quality (for Bocas standards)
- Strong and warm shower
- Good location.
- Lovely outdoor Loggia on the first floor with great views on the water.
The location was beautiful right on the water. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts or exceptionally nice and offered free use of snorkel and fins, kayaks and paddleboards. They were also helpful with suggestions of things to do.
Location on the water and the fact that it is bundled with a diving center. The best place for divers as you literally walk out of your bed on the dock to take a breakfast, get all the gear and hop on the diving boat.
Everything, the hosts Angie/Nicolas were outstanding with their attention to every detail. They make it feel like home. Location, rooms sitting on the water, excellent breakfast, using the bikes. .. top notch
Right on the water, with two beautiful reefs to snorkel. Paddleboard, kayaks, and snorkel gear included. Wonderful dinner available, and full breakfast is included.
Right on the water with snorkeling - I saw stingray, barracuda, starfish and other variety of fish! The coffee is delish! Ariel and the staff were amazing!
