What a great town.
What a great town. It felt like a blend of Huntington Beach and Vail. We were late leaving Venice and decided to skip the drive around the lake so we could get there and check into the hotel by dinner time. The route from the Autostrada brings you into town on a steep drive from the mountains down to the lake. Driving through town you are immediately struck by all the mountain bikers and the Surf Shops. Our immediate reaction was "How can you surf on a lake?" As soon as you see the lake, the answer is obvious. Windsurfers and Kitesurfers love the lake. Watching them at breakfast from the table in Ristorante Aqua was a special treat. There are bike trails near town and along the lake, but they require sharing the road with cars in many places. We walked the streets and the beaches, browsed and purchased at local stores, had great meals, and spent an amazing afternoon on Lago di Garda courtesy of Adamas Boat Tours. It was very difficult to leave the town after 2 days. We hope to be back for a week in the future.FischerUnited States - 10Scored 10

new aparthotel, right on the shore of the lake, with a wonderful view of the surroundings, that alone is 10 stars. Fresh, new equipment, comfortable apartments, balconies overlooking the lake and the surrounding huge mountains. The staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is magnificent, competing with higher category hotels. Cleanliness, daily cleaning, all top 10! We have stayed twice and find it perfect , we hired bikes both times and did some traveling with them and also with the car , lots of great places and town to visit all around the lake . Food in local area is amazing we will be back

We had a one night stopover here but wish we could have stayed longer. Loved watching the kite and wind surfers on the lake. Cute shops, nice walking area along the shore. Gorgeous views. Wish we’d had time for a boat trip on the lake. The spa was lovely and having it to ourselves for an hour was a treat. The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. Valet parking was free! Food was delicious!

A small, quiet town.
A small, quiet town. But it is full of restaurants with excellent food at affordable prices. Of course, I recommend the Centrale restaurant because it has the best Italian cuisine, the taste of which will always remain in my memory. It is worth booking a table at least one day in advance.

It’s a beautiful town with great restaurants , stunning views and great for wind surfing . it’s a lot quieter than neighbouring Riva Del Garda but still so tranquil with friendly people . There is a ferry from Torbole to other towns along the lake or a bus but I think it runs every hour . Torbole has a great beach close by . Take a cardigan for the evening as the temperature can drop by the lake. Hire a bike and ride along the coastline to Riva Del Garda . We will do that on our next trip. I did not see any nightlife , just a few bars. We cannot wait for our next trip to Lake Garda x

Hospitality is genuine and real. Breakfast was super. Staying in this hotel makes you feel like you're part of Garda area. Highly recommended. Hopefully we will come back some day. Room was excellent, just like advertised and more. Two doors to the balcony, daylight and the lake view in the mainroom and even in the bathroom. So it was a nice start of the day. If you travel like us on train & bus so then it's convinient that the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. And the beach is also nearby as well as ferry station. You can find laundry self service close to the hotel. I did not regret a second that we had chosen Torbole and not Riva del Garda. The view on the lake and the mountains was magnificent.

One side is facing the Strada Statale which is very busy. Our room was on the opposite side facing the camp ground which is situated between the lake and the hotel. Walking time to the beach is ca. 10 mins. The hotel is a bit older but in good and clean shape. Personnel was very friendly. Storage room for bicycles is available. We had a room with a view on Lake Garda and could watch the windsurfers, wing foils and boats. Just walking over the street we could go to the beach. The small garden with olive trees invited to relax on the sun beds. Moreover breakfast and dinner were superb! I will come again! The hotel staff was very nice! And we could bring our dog :)

The breakfast, one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The beds are comfortable, the view is to die for… it’s literally my new favourite place. Thank you for an incredible long weekend stay!
