A short walk to town, the property was clean and well looked after. The room had views over the valley towards the sea. Stefano our host helped giving us a lift from the station and organising a taxi back. We didn’t walk due to a bad night of rain. He also recommended some good restaurants

We had never heard of his place and said there to read a long drive from Rome. Moneglia is sort of an island reached by way of one-way tunnels. Once there it is a very cosy and small resort with much space for walking, bars and restaurants. We loved the Sunday morning street market and the locals were lovely.

It hasn't changed much in 50 years , very nice village hope it ll stay the same for like forever. Went there for a week made of quality time and relaxed strolling around the village , sitting on benches under a tree early afternoon or walking uphill on the way back to hotel at dusk ,rewarded by the gorgeous view of the bay once you get there . Food rolls back the years as I have Genoan heritage so had to be careful not to indulge too much with focaccia or pansotti or fritue... .

Moneglia is a charming little town in Liguria.
Moneglia is a charming little town in Liguria. It has a large sandy beach which is perfect for small children. Everything is within walking distance. Lots of good restaurants and shops. Cinque Terre are a couple of train stops away. We used to go to Sestri Levante very often but since we discovered Moneglia, we now have a second favourite place in Liguria. Highly recommended!

Moneglia is absolutely gorgeous.
Moneglia is absolutely gorgeous. It's bursting with the smell of jasmine and has quaint little European alleys and tree-lined streets with an array of restaurants, bars, and cafes to explore. I would highly recommend Element for their truffle pasta and Assirto for an incredible dining experience.

We've been going to Moneglia on and off for 30 years.
We've been going to Moneglia on and off for 30 years. Not too many tourists and a good place from which to visit the Cinque Terre and hike in the mountains. The sheltered beach is perfect for young families - it's like one big shallow swimming pool. The restaurants in town aren't particularly special - suggest a walk/bus ride to L'Uliveto and Pagliettini for excellent value. The view from Ruotola is spectacular. We always lunch at Bagni La Secca on the next door beach where the pasta a le vongole is extra special.

Moneglia is a beautiful town with plenty of shops and restaurants. I liked walking around in its lovely streets. You can choose among different kind of beaches, so it's basically for everyone. Streets of Moneglia are during the day very busy and due to small amount of parking opportunities is often almost impossible to park your car, especially on weekend. If you find a parking spot though, the hourly parking fee I found really expensive, so be prepared to pay, or try to avoid parking for longer period of time if not necessary. After all, I'd love to come again for sure.
Very nice Bed and Breakfast . The owner is very gentle and helpful.Amazing breakfast we got every morning. We could choose on a menu what we want for breakfast. The room was very clean. The Bed and Beakfast is in a quiet area close to the pedestrain area.To the train station it takes 15 min. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants.
If you want to visit Cinque Terre this is a good place to stay.
Thank you again for the nice stay we had in your Bed and Breakfast.
Next time we come back to this Bed and Breakfast

Piano Prima is more of a hostel than a hotel , with shared bathroom facilities down the hall , But there are two of them.
It is located close to main shopping, beach and restaurants area. The town is accessible through an old train tunnel or via a twisty mountain pass. Dont drive a motor home down the tunnel.
You are given a voucher to one of the local cafes for breakfast which was adequate but not brilliant.
The town it,s self is lovely with a safe swimming beach .
The hotel was an excellent base for exploring the Cinque Terre, just a short walk down steps to the station - or into the centre of Moneglia.
We had one of the 'studio' rooms which had a fabulous, private, split level patio with a lovely sea view.
Wide choice of things for breakfast, though we weren't staying on a B&B basis, so mostly self catered from our kitchenette.
the staff are the kindest, most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. everyone was so caring and they even let me check out late, so I could relax before my train. the location was perfect, just a step from the quiet and peaceful beach. the breakfast was great, filling and the view was amazing! best decision I’ve made.
unique property that is located in a convenient location for access to Cinque Terre. Moneglia is a quant town that is a nice contrast to the busy tourist towns of Cinque Terre. I would highly recommend Abbadia San Giorgio. Also. the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, first rate.
washing machine in unit, AC was a plus, clean, amazing views!
we bought fresh pasta in town and ate on the upper deck!
Rita was amazing. She picked us up at train station and also one evening in town when we arrived at 10 pm from Cinque Terre!
She had what’s app so it was easy to text her.
Everything is perfect. Sonia makes a big effort to provide the best, cleanest and most comfortable accommodation. There’s a beautiful view and a little porch where you have breakfast that makes you feel in a true Italian scenario. One of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed
It's a very good variant if you want to stay with children. Good location near the beach and center of the Moneglia. Big and clean apartment. There is everything you need for comfortable living. The owners is very friendly, help you with any questions.
Nice view and peaceful area, besides the parking in front of the apartment we also had a free parking spot in the center of Moneglia provided by the host, 3 mins away from the beach and train station. The hosts were really nice.
Hostess Elizabetta is charming and helpful. Her garden, where breakfast is served, is lovely. Moneglia is the perfect location for visiting the beautiful Lingurian coast: relatively quiet but full of good restaurants and shops.
The view of the surrounding mountains and the sea was the best. Also, the possibility to buy local products was great. Constanzo gave us a lot of good advice concerning Cinque Terre, his mother prepared delicious Italian meals.
The family that runs the hotel was super nice and welcoming, they were available at all times and very helpful. The breakfast was better than we imagined, croissants, Nutella, focaccia, juices, it was delicious.
Good breakfast, clean & well organized
Rooms with a view gave a splendid vista over the sea and coast
Quick access by foot to Moneglia train station but it would be difficult to do the footpath with luggage
It was so clean!! And beautiful view and comfortable. Also friendly host! We had all we needed for our stay 😊. Moneglia is wonderful. it was also an easy walk to train and ride to Cinque Terre.
Nice and fancy hotel, close to the beach in the very pretty town of Moneglia. Rooms are clean and quiet. Fancy breakfast (but it's still just a coffee and an assortment of cookies).
