location - easy walk to town and trulli houses. Garage for parking at reasonable rate. Reception staff helpful but got the eye roll when asked for directions around hotel again, and no response ( just a stare) when asked for wifi code! Room spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast basic but fine. Comfortable 2 night stay.

Our trip to Alberobello was absolutely wonderful! We had some amazing meals during our stay. La Lira offered the perfect pizza and an excellent selection of wines – truly a memorable dining experience. At 88 Gradi Caffe and Gusto, everything was perfect. The coffee was delightful, and the ambiance made it a great spot to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alberobello!

Alberobello is a wonderful place to see, but be warned it is overrun by coachloads of tourists and classes of pupils every day. They start to arrive from 9 am and can still be there at 6.
Best time for a walk around is early morning.
Some very good restaurants here, too. Best to book for most popular ones. Lots of people stay overnight in the village - though thankfully by the evening the coachloads and the schoolkids have gone.

Alberobello is a special town.
Alberobello is a special town. There is really nowhere else quite like it. That said, it is clearly a town that caters to and derives much of its economy from tourists. I don't think a visit during high season would be as enjoyable as during early April, when I was there. There is much to see in the surrounding area as well, so one does not need to spend more than two days exploring the town itself, which is compact and easy to navigate on foot.

The Trulli are wonderful to see during the day and at night they are magical. Plenty of eating options too. We hired a private driver from Bari Airport and were dropped off at the door of our stay in Alberobello. As we had a two night stay - we had time to walk/hike around the countryside close to Alberobello.

The accommodation and location was perfect.
The accommodation and location was perfect.
The downside was that Booking.com advised there was 6 Euro daily parking or 2 Euro per hour however that is not correct. Parking in Alberobello is paid parking only for visitors at 2 Euro per hour between 9am and midnight so daily cost for parking was 30 Euro per day. As we stayed 2 full days it cost us 60 Euro which was not expected. We expected to pay 12 Euro as per booking.com advice.

Alberobello is a magical place of trulli that's easy to navigate. We stayed outside town (in a trulli) but went into town in the evening for dinner and to see the town by night. Dinner was great, but the town is pretty quiet, so don't worry about getting accommodation right in town.
The property was everything we had hoped for; it was luxurious and in a great location with nearby parking. Our hosts, Fabio and Dario, need particular mention. Although we never met them personally, they immediately helped us when our car did not start on a Saturday afternoon when everything is closed in Italy. Magically they found a friend who jump started the car and when we found it needed a new battery, he organised one and installed it at 9 pm. Like that we could continue our travel on Sunday as planned. we could not thank them enough.
The room is very near the centre of Alberobello, where you can find the Trulli Areas as well as restaurants, bars etc. Area is quiet and the room was cozy since we had a fireplace and also air conditioning. Great for travellers who rented a car as you can easily find parking in the streets - if not the guesthouse offers parking in its own drive in. Owners were so sweet and communicated with us a day before since we arrived late in the evening, so that we can have a swift self-check in. Great experience being in a Trullo!
Staying in a trulli was on our radar from the moment we planned to visit Alberobello. Antichi Mestieri was everything we envisioned when we booked. Probably more. Very unique. Alberobello itself is small in area and easily walked in a day.
All in all the place is magic.
We had dinner at Casa Nova, which is an underground (basement) location where back in the day was used to press olives.
Neat vibe. We did see some poor reviews. But those, in no way, jived with our experience. Make a reservation.
The apartment is centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Trulli of Alberobello.
Amazing decoration, gave the feeling of traveling back to time….
Very helpful hosts, always available.
Great breakfast in Terra Madre, where the owners are growing their own vegetables and herbs!
Don’t miss to visit Terra Madre for lunch or dinner, the vegetable selection and the dishes offered, are not to be missed! Very friendly and kind staff should be also mentioned! :)
our family stayed here for my son’s elopement and it was the most incredible experience. They provided car transfers when we needed, and one night cooked us a home cooked meal with the best fresh pasta we have tried in Italy!! Paolo and his parents were extremely accomodating to any of our needs and went the extra mile to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. They even brought fresh pastries on our final day!
We loved the experience of staying in Dimore Barsento. We felt like having a charming home in Italy. The attention and the care with all details were special! Notably, the owner welcomed us super late at night and took us to an open restaurant to have some food, waited and later took us personally to the charming trullo. There, we found several delightful and unexpected treats. Marvelous!
Everything! Beautiful house with large courtyard, quiet and private, yet right along one of the most picturesque trulli streets. comfortable bed and couch, full kitchen, good WiFi and air conditioning. Best of all an excellent host who answers questions, solves problems and provides a great breakfast. We traveled for two months in Italy and this was our favorite place to stay.
Such a wonderful property ! located five minutes from Alberbello . The whole vibe is amazing , a unique trulli hotel with a pool and wonderful patio were breakfast was served .
The stay in the trulli was awesome . A must do ! modern and super clean but keeping with the old tradition
Comfortable bed quiet air conditioning fabulous shower cut into the rock
Fantastic experience staying in an authentic trullo in Alberobello. Check in staff were helpful, guided us to secure parking space and then helped us take our luggage to the trullo. Inside it was both cosy and luxurious with a lovely bed and sitting area, and the best bathroom we had in Italy!!! Breakfast at the nearby Cosi Com’era was very good too!
Great place, excellent and super dedicated hosts, the most amazing breakfast we’ve had in Italy, huge room and beautiful bathroom. The little extra things (snack and tea, cue tips and make-up removal pads, customised map for local attractions and restaurant recommendations) really make a huge difference. Highly recommended place, totally worth it!
The property is beautifully maintained and our room in a trulli met our expectations. The frescos on the ceiling were an unexpected and wonderful surprise. We would stay here again if ever back in Alberobello. Alessandro (Alex) attended to all our needs during our stay and represented the hotel wonderfully.
we had a fantastic time at this accomodation and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. the house and gardens/swimming area was very clean, the host was super helpful and responsive. We nicknamed the place "little paradise" and will hope to return again when we visit Italy.
The room in the trullo's roof was a hit and was fought over by all. Great location only a short walk away from the main strip. Lovely and authentic trullo stay in a wonderful part of Italy. Recommend staying up for the nightlife around Alberobello as we were pleasantly surprised.
An elegant place to stay in the heart of the trulli village and the opportunity to enjoy the accomodations and swimming pool of the structure which were 5 minutes away by car. French and englush speaking, which is so rare in italy.
The trulli are a delight. Anselmo’s restoration of the structures fall in the realm of art. Live for a while inside these masterpieces, I suggest! So glad to have found this place to stay while we visited Alberobello
The property is beautiful! The pool is refreshing on hot days. the property itself is a short drive to downtown Alberobello. There are trulli on the property, so you get the charm of Alberobello without the tourists.
Beautiful Trulli accommodation in the heart of Alberobello. Easy to check in and find your way around. Great recommendation for dinner which was so so delicious.
