I liked the tea in the kitchen. Thanks 😊
I liked the washing machine and the dryer.
Most people stay in O pedrouzo but I stayed A Rua because of this albergue.

PR Una Estella Dorada was a great place to stay. Thr staff were very helpful. We left a wrist watch behind and we were able to retrieve it before we left on our walk to Santiago. Our bags weren't collected by the transport company and the staff were excellent in contacting us to organise the transport of our bags to our hotel in Santiago. Excellent service 👏

The bathroom was big and the kitchen had enough space to eat with a big refrigerator. The closets had a ton of room. Connect via Whatsapp to have someone meet you with the keys. It's not on the Camino, but most of the places to stay in O Pedrouzo are not.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Pensión 9 de Abril offers accommodation in O Pedrouzo. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom that includes free toiletries and a...

Pleasant and relaxing stop along the Camino trail (if one doesn't wish to stay in the major centers and towns). The hostel and hostel restaurant was relaxing and the food and drink was very good.

O Pedrouzo was an easy place to stop along the Camino, with a lot of accommodations and restaurants. While the Camino does not run through the town, it is barely a 5 minute walk to enter the parts of town with accommodations.

This was our last stop prior to arriving in Santiago. O Pino, delivered, a good few places where to eat and have a drink, buy some gifts, and the locals were very nice.
The town isn't very big but is very pleasant and calm which, as you walk the Camino, tends to be what you need and look for.

One Hostel next to the other albergue or hotel.
One Hostel next to the other albergue or hotel. And inbetween restaurants and bars... A town you have to walk through on your Camino - nothing to see... nothing spectacular... just the last stop-over before reaching Santiago de Compostela...

Beautiful new albergue in Pedrouzo just at the entry of town. Electrical at each bed for charging; solid wood bunks; multitude of clean large bathroom/shower facilities
Restaurants across the street are great for camino pilgrim gatherings

Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday.
Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday. It felt like a ghost town.
Can’t recall name of restaurant I ate in but it was on the Main Street, had two rooms with long tables in the middle of each room, so as a solo diner I felt fine. Friendly and good food at reasonable prices.
This was a nice experience! The service was good. It's a nice size tent that accommodates four guests, each one in its own space and bed. The bathroom is convenient, and bright, but not so clean. They have a pool, which was a good bonus for our stay. However, there is no AC, so during the day it gets really hot, but the temperature lowers at night which makes the room more comfortable to stay in. It is located next to a hotel with a good restaurant.
it has a good comfortable room and amazingly we can hang our wet laundry to dry just outside the windows, the hotel provides us with many cloth tags, another thing is that there is a lift for us and our heavy luggage. Many restaurants and cafe are nearby that we did not have to walk far to get our dinner and breakfast
The staff is kind and gives us all the information we need, we enjoyed our stay there
The location of the Albergue was right off of the Camino which was great. The area is a bit far from O Pedrouzo which is where the market and shops are but the staff was generous and drove us to town so we can buy some groceries. We appreciated the laundry machines that were available to use for a small fee. Our room was very clean and spacious.
Great location, helpful staff - I even got a call in a morning from the staff asking if we are doing good on our camino and they offered to pick us up and give us a lift to the hotel, if we experience any kind of troubles on our way. Breakfast included, place had a washer and dryer to use for free
Beautiful place, spacious bright room, very comfy, very comfy bed, The hotel/ hostel (idk) was completely decorated with beautiful antiques and very good taste, great garden and terrace, they offer a great breakfast for an additional price
I stayed here during my caminonde santiago. The views from the room are AMAZING! I was really happy with that. The hotel provided comfortable accomodations.
I was tired from the walk but slept like a baby here.
Thank you!
This hotel is family-owned, and all the services are provided by the owners. It is new, and the place is an absolute gem. Comfortable bed and great amenities. The food in the hotel is excellent; it was one of our best meals.
receptionist was very helpful and took care of locating our lost luggage! Location of hotel was great… right in town before Pedrosa. Lunch and dinner were good. Pick from carta menu if you’re tired of Menu of the Day.
New hotel offering a relaxing stay along the camino walk. Hotel is uniquely designed using wood a key decorative material. Staff are caring and provide a delicious dinner menu. Breakfast is plentiful and filling.
Spacious alternative to hostels or pensions in O Pedrouzo. Three or four people could easily share the apartment. Kitchen had some basic pantry items. The proprietor was very responsive to our questions.
Excellent hotel for night before taking a plane out of Santiago Airport. The little town has bars and food for the evening prior. Pizza place a couple of doors down was very good.
Amazing Albergue, super helpful staff, comfortable beds and an amazing location just off of the Camino. Much better to stay here than in O Pedrouzo. Can’t recommend more highly!
Very clean and beautiful. It’s more like a hotel. we loved the convenience of the location, walking distance from restaurants and shops. The host was very friendly and helpful.
We were booked for this hotel but got a message that our booking had been changed to another completely different hotel. No explanation given. Bizarre, really.
Located on the main street of O Pedrouzo right on the Camino. The rooms were small - but they had everything that was needed. The check in was very good.
