We stayed for 10 nights for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Pito was friendly and welcoming and so helpful. The room was beautiful, comfortable bed, tea, coffee, water available, TV, air con and Wi-Fi all very good. Room was cleaned daily. The view over the beach was stunning. Location was also perfect. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby but still very quiet - no loud music or people. Moped hire just next to the hotel so easy to get to the rest of the island. We’ll be back!
Steps away from Fisherman Village and Bophut Walking Street, Hacienda Fisherman's Village features comfortable rooms and free WiFi throughout the hotel.

We enjoyed our brief one night stay at J and Ariya Hotel. The room was clean and very spacious with lots of storage. The bed was super comfy. We liked the kitchenette with microwave, fridge and kettle. The shower was warm and shampoo & body shower gel were provided. The receptionist also arranged for us to get an early morning taxi to the airport which was really helpful. The hotel is close to Bangrak pier and walkable to cafes and restaurants.

Bo Phut is an amazing place to stay. The beaches are beautiful and clean. There's a lot of great restaurants and shops to explore. The island is small enough to explore in a day without feeling tired at the end of any tour. I've been to a lot of Thailand areas and this is one of my favourites. Food is cheap and really nice.

There isnt much to do in Bophut.
There isnt much to do in Bophut. We stayed for 4 days and we felt it was too long. The beach is ok albeit small and the only clean areas are those around the hotels and resorts. Once you walk outside your hotel the streets are dirty and smelly and overall lack good infrastructure. there are almost no trees on the streets. Bolt And Grab dont work in the Bophut area and people have to rely on the very expensive taxi mafia. Tourist prices everywhere which are similar to European prices. The Fishermans Village was great with a lot of food options and souvenirs, A must see but open only on Monday and Friday evenings, Other than that, there is nothing else to do in Bophut.

Bophut has a good mix.
Bophut has a good mix. Fisherman's village is quaint but has plenty of life, pubs and restaurants, and a good night market. The beach is clean and not overcrowded and there are plenty of trips on offer Over all a good area to base your trip to Koh Samui from

Lovely clean place full of restaurants/bars, markets, but not too lively, perfect for us and families.
From the pier, the taxis are sooooo expensive. Going back from towns to pier, 200 to 300baht cheaper. So barter. To our hotel price on board was 1,000. We refused and offered 600. That was accepted.
In 4 nights, we ate twice at Summer (next to coco tams) amazing, and we cld see the fire show perfectly.
We hired a car for our stay via our hotel, so probably not the cheapest way. But it was convenient for us on a short stay. One day cost the same as two taxi rides, and instead of doing tours, we went to all the places on tours that we fancied.

The condition of the road surface was abysmal.
The condition of the road surface was abysmal. The drainage is also sadly lacking. The pressure put on the vendors when there is significant rain is terrible. There are also some areas that need a good clean up.
Always wear footwear that can get wet if there in the wet season.

Fishermans village was a great place for shopping and dinning, numerous excellent restaurants of which some were right on the beach, daily cultural shows. Great beach, great water activities provided by the hotels such as kyakes, paddle boarding, jet skies, speedboat hire etc.
The staff are great! They are very welcoming and smiley:) they were also very patient with our requests. our window was not sealed properly and we didn’t want any insects or geckos to enter. They immediately moved us to another room with a better sealed window. When we had an issue with the shower, they also fixed it right away.
The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and super close to the beach and many awesome restaurants and bars. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend it.
Booked this for the first night of a longer stay on Koh Samui. our airline brought our flight forward by a day so had to find accommodation for one night, as our main hotel was full by this time.
We arrived late and left after breakfast so didn’t get a chance to look around the area at all. Still, the hotel was great. Staff were really attentive and very friendly and breakfast was nice if not the biggest selection, but served with a smile.
My room:
Big bed, couch, table, tv, mirror, toilet shower.
The price are extremely affordable. And a good zone.
This house with Rooms has not contain for us travelers SWIMINGPOOL, PRIVATE BEACH, GYM, BUFFET BREAKFAST, SAUNAS, ROOM SERVICE, RESTAURANT.
I truly understand as they are extremely affordable.
But this is only a honest review for other traveler to help take decisions if they choose Rak Samui Bophut
This hotel the food always the same every day for breakfast. When have a question about our stay from Germany the staff tell us just get here in koh samui and will change our rooms without the change. But when there we have to pay for everything more and when have question about and thing about our stay we get the answer "I don't know " so when our family and ask us how is it don't go there. Thus suck 😪
The location of the property is extremely good. The hotel had a private beach and some free paddle boards and kayaks to use during the day. Also some paid water sports activities are located on the side of the hotel offered by a separate service provider: The hotel is few min walk to the fishermen village where you have plenty of restaurants and shops. Staff were very helpful and polite.
You need to understand that this is a no frills kind of place. My room was quite small, faced the street, and up three flights of stairs. However it was clean, new, and very well located. I also really enjoyed the beach club, 10 or so minutes away by foot. The staff were very nice, helped with my luggage, my room was cleaned daily. I enjoyed my stay and would return.
For. 3 star hotel the Bophut Ibis is brilliant. stunning views, amazing beachside location, great Thai food cafe, clean comfortable bedrooms, Thai massage available. Small
pools for little ones, kayaks and paddles boards available , small playground by the pool. we have lived a long time in Asia and travelled a lot so we know facilities are good for the rate.
One of the most surprising Hotels I have come across recently. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The Hotel itself is gorgeous, spacious and clean. The design of the place just made me feel so at calm. A big big recommend for everyone staying in that area of Koh Samui.
everything was amazing! this resort is a gem in Koh Samui! we only stayed for 2 nights, but for sure we ll chose Celes again! the breakfast was 10/10, the room was clean and modern, huuge bed, the staff was incredibly nice. one of the best hotels i’ve ever been to!
My friend and I had a lovely relaxing time at your resort.
The breakfast was plentiful and the extra touches in our room were welcomed. We used the gym which was sufficient enough for a workout. Finally, we had 1 of the best Thai massages in Koh Samui.
We liked everything in the hotel - it's super nice and may be even called luxury. The service was great, staff looked happy, we were glad to spend our 7 days SHA stay here. Look for a hidden gem: there is a gym near the restaurant, on the 2nd floor!
small, clean, comfortable hotel. friendly and welcoming staff, we felt at home. beautiful pool and beach, quiet and nice music. we stayed in a family villa and loved it! great breakfast with a fantastic view of the beach and pool.
Staff are the best, so friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, beachfront without being a big expensive resort. Food delicious. Such good value for money compared to other beachfront hotels in Samui. Close to amenities.
The resort is fantastically located and I am so glad we stayed in this part of Koh Samui. We also had the plunge pool villa room and this was the best place we stayed in our entire 3 weeks in Thailand.
The property is in a perfect location close to Fisherman’s Village and on a beautiful beach. The resort is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The service is wonderful and the breakfast is lovely.
The location was perfect, beautiful sea view view, plenty of space and comfortable! If we ever come back to Koh Samui we will 100% stay again. Petr was very welcoming and made us feel at home.
perfect for a relaxed rustic stay in Koh Samui, excellent location on the beach just 10 mins from hustle and bustle if Fishermans village. excellent food.
