Every aspect of the Olympic Lodge exceeded our expectations, from communications beforehand, to the excellent staff, beauty of the. gathering area, the spectacular view of the golf course behind, and the spaciousness and comfort of the room. We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!

I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat. P.A.has my ideal climate. The town is just the right mix of city and suburbs. The houses and neighborhoods are all so cute and wonderful. I am seriously considering moving there. Best restaurant: New Day Eatery Best american breakfast: Chestnut Cottage

In the morning our tent was found encircled by a bunch of graceful deers. It was an exquisite encounter that remains unparalleled in its beauty and wonder. Experience: - Just 30 mins from Port Angeles - The tent comes with a bed covered in high thread count sheets, plush down comforter, fleece blankets and pillows, side tables, butterfly chairs and a rug. So NO SET-UPS, NO SLEEPING BAGS OR EXTRA BLANKETS NEEDED. - RV flush style toilets, sinks and showers. No kidding they were super superrr clean!

This was a fantastic little adventure just near to Port Angeles and the various sights that my wife and I wanted to see. Loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was and how comfortable the tent was despite the weather. We had adequate blankets and cushions and things to be comfortable, even if the layout was simple and somewhat boho-inspired from a look perspective. Loved the camping experience. This might've spoiled us a bit too much and it may be hard to go back to a regular tent now... ha!

The room was large enough for myself and my family without any of us feeling like we were stepping on each other. The bathroom was a really good size and very spacious with plenty of towels. Though we didn’t need to use it the hotel is very accessible for those who need it with ramps pretty much everywhere. The gentleman on the desk on Tuesday morning was also very helpful as I wanted to double check if there was unpaid parking near the pier and he was happy to give me directions.

We’re on our way to the Hurricane Ridge visiting from North Carolina. After lots of driving and an awful night over the Quinault Lodge a night earlier, the Olympic Lodge exceeded our expectations. Spacious rooms, super clean and updated rooms, very friendly staff and the breakfast was great. Location was only 15miles from the Hurricane Ridge which was the highlight of our entire PCH trip. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed here for work purposes once a year for many years. I requested a main floor w/water side. I was really amazed at how beautiful and upgraded my room was! It was amazingly nice and comfortable. I will share with others what a great place to stay. I will also be back hopefully soon for fun with family that can be centered around your wonderful hotel. Thank you so much.

Was only room available in Port Angeles. While room was fairly clean, SERIOUS need of updates and repairs etc. Cracks in ceiling (possibly some poorly repaired leaks), painted over grafitti in bath room, dresser drawer broken, 'squishy' carpet, etc.. Old bed spread with no blankets available in room. Noisy outside and not a great area of Port Angeles it appeared.

Room was super clean. Had a super clean refrigerator with a bag of ice in the freezer. Bed was very comfortable. A lot of electrical outlets on both sides of the bed to charge all our electronics. Could park the car in front of the room. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Will be back to the motel for all future trips to Port Angeles.

The person who checked us in didn't seem trust worthy, he tried to charge us an additional person charge, when I had disclosed when I made the reservation the number of guests we would have. When I refused, he shrugged and said, I don't care, it isn't my money. The servers in the breakfast area were great, very friendly and attentive.

Super clean and comfy! Everything inside the apartments is new and clean. For reference, even the skirting was clean! The heating temperature was perfect and easy to regulate. I even forgot a scarf and they kept it safe for me. From the outside it looks like a motel, but inside its a starred hotel :)
