This is an amazing hotel with attention to details. Super friendly staff. Location was great for being on the water and walking. At least 6 restaurants/coffee places within two minute walking distance. Sushi restaurant nearby has a sushi train, and prices were on on the lower side. Coffee place a few doors down, had great coffee, but super expensive! Hotel has great coffee for free in the lobby, and great cookies in the afternoon. Restaurant at the hotel was amazing for New years Dinner, although the ambiance wasn't the greatest as we were put into the banquet room, but service and food was amazing! Would highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised at the vibrancy of the city and how much there is to see and do! What a great city! We had a wonderful dinner at Storia Cucina and met the talented head chef, Helen who came over to say hello, which made our evening. And next door at Red Light we got one of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time. All the people we encountered were down kind and down to earth. Hope to be back soon.

Bellingham is a smallish, funky and cute town with 19th century beginnings. It has a lot of character and is surrounded by a lot of natural beauty. I would like to go again and enjoy the lake and the sound, hiking and other scenic areas. There are good restaurants and parks around the city for walking. It is very bicycle friendly and pet friendly, and the people seem really nice and laid back.

We enjoyed our visit for 1 night with our furry kid. We felt very welcomed. The customer service was spectacular.
We were delighted on the variety of food at breakfast. Good food.
Very clean hotel. I would highly recommend.
Excellent location in Bellingham. We strolled around town which is what we intended to do during our visit.
Stores and shops were all walking-distance. Free parking in their lot was a big plus.
Very comfortable and cozy lobby with a piano which our so enjoyed playing. Loved the contrast between the modern and historic elements throughout the hotel.
Great kitchenette and ample room in the suite for the three of us.
The staff was wonderful. They extended our check-out time the next day so we could grab breakfast in town.
Close to downtown and super close to freeway and grocery store. When I was growing up in Bellingham, this area was "sketchy“. Now it’s really up and coming and not bad at all.
The front desk man was really friendly and personable. We chatted for an extra ten min at check in and he was really helpful getting us an personal cab driver who was SUPER quick and cheaper than a normal cab or Uber. Really good value for the price. Especially in Bellingham (these days). Also a pretty big fridge for a motel.
Hotel is dated but very clean, staff was great. Area around the hotel had some sketchy people at night and a couple of cars looked like they had been broken into in the back so park out front. They do have long term rentals available which attract a certain kind of people and we did see those people. Overall the price is great and the rooms are clean but very basic property.
The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is older but the price is fair and if you want fancy go somewhere more expensive. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast and adequate for our needs and the price point of this hotel. For one night in Bellingham I would definitely stay again.
Good location a bit out of the center of town. Great for riding bikes. We parked the car and cycled all weekend. Room was large, very comfortable beds and quiet. Staff were friendly but our only interaction was checking in and out as we had everything else we needed in the room. We will always stay here when visiting Bellingham.
Absolutely 5 Star trained and passionate staff. Ambience on the water lovely. Comfortable furniture in the room. Nespresso pod machine a super useful addition!..Balcony roomy enough for two. Very solid room..double glazed..Super service and food at the adjacent Anthony's Grill..
Cheers to Aaron at Bellwether!🤗
I would describe the hotel as a "boutique" property near the historic town of "Fairhaven"----with a beautiful view looking out over the picturesque Bellingham Bay. The rooms are spacious and very nice. The hotel has a great restaurant (utilizing the Bay view) and a cozy bar area with a wood-burning fireplace.
The grounds are gorgeous. My husband and I sat on the expansive patio and watched the sunset. The hotel and restaurant staff were excellent. There is a walking path that passes just in front of the motel that goes around the marina to a lovely park. The hotel is just minutes away from Bellingham.
We came to Bellingham for the weekend and knew we wanted a hotel with a pool for our kids. It was close enough to Downtown for us and worth the drive to save money on the accommodations! Our room was very clean as was the facility. We loved our stay!
Location was excellent! I was impressed how close it is located to the airport which added convenience for travel purposes.
Hotel was laid out well and it was easy to find room. Plenty of room in the closet and bathroom is good size.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. Definitely a safe area. The staff was so great always happy to help. Very nice breakfast every day. Shuttle service to Amtrak and airport as well as downtown if they weren't to busy.
Cleanliness, accommodations, pool area, very comfortable beds, shampoo and conditioner that’s not cheap (so many hotels skimp on quality toiletries), parking, etc. Truly a great hotel when staying in Bellingham.
Ample staffing for easy, efficient check in. Location is off a major freeway, yet is quiet and on a secondary road that provides a scenic access to Bellingham and nearby Fairhaven. A good, budget hotel.
Right in downtown, with easy access to restaurants and shopping, the Hotel Leo is in a beautiful historic building. Our suite was in the newer addition. Nice outdoor deck, fun bar, great staff.
Location was great. Could've walked from airport to hotel (there was a path). Room was quiet. Good TV. Got clean linens when needed (no maid service due to covid rules) but that was ok.
