The only drawback was the website said that the outdoor pool was open and it was not. It was the one thing the grandsons were looking forward to and were quite disappointed. It should have been mentioned not only on the website but the confirmation email and a sign in the lobby when checking in

I liked that I was out of town but it also made me wish I was back home. I love to travel but I like to feel safe and I didn’t feel safe here in Hopewell. There appears to be a lot of people hanging around the hotel area that have drug problems.Sonja - 4.0Scored 4.0

The town itself appeared to be very run down and uncared for. I noticed many vacant homes and storefronts in the area. It reminded me of a town with very poor economics and a community where leaders have not taken a interest in the aesthetics of the community and the heart of the city.

Nice town. Was working with the Army base at Ft. Lee, so most of our time was spent there. ONE PLACE TO AVOID - the Denny's restaurant. Terrible service, half of the items were not available. Even salad dressing (most weren't available). It was late and we needed to eat, so we settled for some items that we weren't crazy about - we both were sick the next day.
