The lobby was very nice and welcoming. Our room was amazing! We got a surprise upgrade to a suite with two separate bedrooms and the room was so nice and spacious. It had a small kitchenette area, but not microwave or cooking area, just really a sink and a refrigerator and a table. The common areas were nice. The kids had a blast in the pool, that was clean, nice and warm and comfortable. The game room was nice but it was very expensive at a dollar per game so we didn’t play anything, yes the kids were disappointed but it was ridiculously expensive. Also the token machine only took cash, which is very archaic these days lol, There’s an area were snacks and drinks are sold at the front desk and free breakfast in the morning with good variety! No restaurant in the building but there’s a few nice ones really close to the hotel for takeout if wanted. Overall a very nice stay! Would definitely stay there again!

The coffee was weak and the pancakes were way underdone. Plenty of fruit juice and very nice granola.

Littleton is a charming little town. We only stayed for 1 night, but it couldn't have been more pleasant. The Coffee Pot breakfast restaurant was a wonderful, fun local breakfast spot with friendly efficient service, delicious coffee and homemade options!

What a really neat little town.
What a really neat little town. Lots of little shops with eclectic arts and crafts. Lots of dinning and breweries but very little in the way of live entertainment options, which very well may have been the time of the season, Mid May. However, by 9:00 EVERYTHING was shut down! So if you crave nightlife, this isnt your town. BUT if you like beautiful scenery then it is a great place to visit.

Must visit- Shaun Terhune Photography shop. Seasoned professional with a wide-range of skills and services and an absolutely wonderful personality! Nearly across the street dining at Alburrito's Mexican Restaurant is also highly recommended- delicious food! And don't fail to make at least one visit to Polly's Pancakes in nearby Sugar Hill. The food is great, the view even better.

The town itself is wonderful.
The town itself is wonderful. They were following the COVID guidelines and everybody wore a mask except at the local market which floored us. We turned around right away. You need to make reservations at sit down restaurant or else you wait for hours or it is full. You need to place orders to go early on so you don't wait an hour outside for your order.
The food was excellent everywhere we ate
. A lot of nice shops and galleries. The covered bridge over the cascades was enchanting. It was magical for it was full foliage and the town is surrounded by mountains.

I love this town so much I visit every summer ,I just love all the rivers around the mountains is just so beautiful New Hampshire's so beautiful I hope one day I can buy a house there and move There forever. For a motel (and that is clearly what this is) built in 1948, this place is excellent. Room warmed up fairly quickly, Bathroom was nearly cruise ship small, but shower was great, and the bathroom was fine for a one-night stay. Staff (I assume owners) were as friendly and helpful as could be. Owner provided a suggested route for some area sightseeing and highlighted an area map for us. Somehow, we missed a critical turnoff, but were able to fo;;ow all but that small road. All in all a very pleasant stay and a great choice for basic stay.
The Thayer Inn was an unexpected gem as we were looking for a last minute place to spend the night. It was less expensive to stay there than some of the local standard motels. It was very charming, quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of historical memorabilia to enjoy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for our intended reason to be in Littleton. In light of Senator Robert Dole's passing that day, we were offered the opportunity to stay in the room named for him when he visited the Inn.
Loved the area that the hotel was in.. Plenty of restaurants and a Walmart right across the street. Pool was open from 6 am to 10 pm!
The breakfast---- WOW! scrambled eggs, Western omelet, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereals, potatoes, sausage, OJ, just to name a few. And the attendant kept the items filled! I am gluten free and they checked to make sure I was safe in my food choices.. They even had gluten free bagels!
The hotel is fairly new an is kept exceptionally clean. Breakfast was terrific with lots of choices from hot to cold and fresh fruit too. Great coffee of all kinds 24/7 in lobby. Easy access to highway 93 N/S . We will definitely book again. A bit pricey for us hikers but worth it. Across the street from food and general shopping and just down the street from downtown Littleton.
We loved the everything about this home. We have family in Littleton and we're able to have them all over for dinner and a visit. We enjoyed the fireplace. There was a Wood stove and a firepit as well.
The view was incredible too. What a sunrise overlooking the dam.
We have another trip to Littleton coming up on the fall of 2022. Hopefully the house will be available again..
This motel is a gem, a delightful aesthetic to look at, superbly located with great, helpful staff. The rooms are just right in size and have every amenity. Comfortable large beds, a bijoux shower room and modern TV and coffee machine. Although breakfast isn't available, the Littleton Diner, an old fashioned family diner, is just across the street. We loved it.
We stayed at a lot of hotels on this trip during covid and this was one of the few that had to-go breakfast. Most other places had nothing or a paid option only. It’s close to state parks also in a beautiful location. Definitely go to the Freehouse Taproom a short drive away.
The Queen room was very small and crowded. We upgraded to a king for the second night. Anna was fantastic in helping us move. She went beyond. At our age (mid 70’s) the stairs were a little much. When the upgrades are completed it will be a better historic hotel.
The room had an extra large mini fridge which was nice since we were hiking and had lots of snacks to put away. The bathroom in the room was newly renovated. Close drive to the small downtown area.
