Pahrump is a growing commuter community. It's growing very rapidly. There's a wide range of places to eat, shop, and things to do.
The road to Vegas is a very nice, wide open roadway that will take you to Sin City in about an hour.

Pahrump is wonderful to visit but we really went there to visit to Copa to go to the fireman's festival and soak in the hot springs. Denny's was highly recommended by us because the waitress was wonderful the coffee was delicious and breakfast was quick and hot.

What I liked most is my mother and brother live there now.
What I liked most is my mother and brother live there now. It was great to visit with them. It is near Death Valley which is a great place to visit in the winter. It's also near Las Vegas if you like to gamble and go to shows. Pahrump is in Nevada so of course there are casinos there. I didn't go in any of them so can't review them. It is a desert town so is very hot in the summer. Much more temperate in the winter. It's got a population of 140,000 so is a small town but not too small! I think it's a great place to retire if you don't mind the heat.

As far as I can tell, when entering Death Valley from the east, Pahrump is about the only convenient place to stay unless staying in one of the two hotels in Death Valley, both of which are quite more expensive. That and I had car trouble the day I was heading into Death Valley and Pahrump had service garages that can take care of issues fast. It's a good size town.
This little place was awesome. Owners thought we were bringing our dog so they had brand new dog toys on the bed waiting for us. Very clean and just what we were hoping for. Perfect for a couple with or without pets. It was the most stocked place we have ever stayed, snacks, restroom amenities, anything extra you would forget at home. Pahrump is a small town so a couple miles from the center of town is exactly what I would hope for. Simply awesome, definitely recommend and will return in the future.
Breakfast was good and we could chose difefrent foods every moorning. Fruits, good coffee, pankaces, oatmeal etc. Room on the corner was spatious, coffee maker, good coffee, big shower cabin. Location under palm trees and well preserve environment was inviting. Welcome drink on the house and super steaks in hotel reaturant were a true bonus.
Hotel is located in nice small city of Pahrump, which is very good point to explore Death Valley. Neighbourhood is quiet, a bit dark, but safe. There are some restaurants and shops around. My room was big, well equipped and clean. Breakfast was deliciuos with great choice of dishes and snaks. Hotel has nice outdoor pool and indoor fitness.
wonderful location, outside of Pahrump, so very quiet, but great access to Death Valley and surrounding area. Pahrump has a surprising variety of good restaurants, and good sources for food. This is a quiet, restful place to stay after a busy day, and snug for windstorms, rain, even snow.
We had a blast! The property was amazing, great spot for kids after the whole day in the death valley. We got plenty of very good tips from Alicia, best host ever. Great breakfast! I would highly recommend. Thanks a million Alicia for everything and let’s stay in touch :-)
Very clean and new. Good vibe. Next to the room there is an amazing pizza place. It is very comfortable. The hotel is just on a road to the Death valley, you don't need to go into the city, so you save some time.
Location was close to everything we needed in Pahrump. Pahrump is a small town, but The Nugget was close to food and other downtown attractions.
Walls are thick enough that you do not hear neighboring rooms.
It was easy to find near Pahrump, but away from crowds. Private parking and entrance. Quiet. Owners available by phone and cery responsive. Nice touches in decoration, furnishing, and appliances.
The Casita is in a quiet area, the value for the price is good, it has enough space for 4 people (other than some hotel rooms) and everything was in a clean condition although already well aged.
Hotel was great - but they said they’d upgraded the room from what was booked. Not so - a jacuzzi room was booked via Booking.com. Error in the system?
