Lots of options for food and shopping is close. Indian Creek Plaza has some great food options as well as shopping. D & B Supply is a great place for clothes and supplies.
We found it pretty easy to learn our way around the area. There’s some construction close by but it can be easily avoided once you get to know the area.

Another thing: I extended my stay for two more nights.
Another thing: I extended my stay for two more nights. When I stopped by the desk to check on my reservation I was told it was extended, no problem. However when I retUrned to the hotel my key wouldn’t open the door. I had bags of food and needed to use the bathroom. The lobby was clear down the hall and I had to go down to get the clerk to extend my reservation and my key entry. I thought that was “taken care of”!
It looked like they've tried to update the outside of it. It was painted nicely, and appeared to be the better of the hotel/motels near by. It was located in a neighborhood, off the freeway. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room, which was a bonus. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the A/C worked great! It was an extremely last minute stay, but for the price, it was pretty much what we expected. Definitely wasn't great, but wasn't completely terrible either.
Location was fine although noisy so close to freeway, needed a room for the night because of a plan change and it was available. It's a Budget Inn so didn't expect much. Front desk person was nice and courteous once we were able to check in. Room was clean. Nice TV and front desk person came and helped us reset it. Great Mexican restaurant close by, El Compo.
I didn’t like all the cigarette butts outside. people are such pigs. not the hotels fault but supply more ashtrays and make an effort to clean it up. construction going on so the floors suffered but again not their fault. just make an effort to clean it up more often.
The rooms were fantastic. Big enough for our daughter to come visit in the room. There was plenty of parking and access to the hotel off the highway was easy.
This hotel is convenient to I-84. It's a 5 minute drive to Indian River Square in Caldwell. It's one of the best hotel breakfasts that we've experienced.
