Kailani Loft, Kailua Coconut Grove 1-bedroom, hotel in Kailua

Offering a terrace and garden view, Kailani Loft, Kailua Coconut Grove 1-bedroom is located in Kailua, 18 km from Foster Botanical Garden and 20 km from Honolulu Museum of Art.

The property is in a great location. It is within walking distance to places to eat and shop. Super easy to get to and a great location to base yourself if you’re wanting to get away from the tourist trap of Waikiki and do lots of hikes and swimming. It was clean and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed more nights. I was sad to leave! I will be recommending to friends and will try to stay if we’re ever on the island again.

____Cute Plantation House in Kailua with AC!!_____, hotel in Kailua

Set in Kailua in the O'ahu region, with Kailua Beach nearby, ____Cute Plantation House in Kailua with AC!!_____ offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

We looked at latest the reviews just before we left home and lowered our expectations, however, we were pleasantly surprised. Yes it is a little tired but we had no bugs, it was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The rear garden was private and sitting out on the patio was good. We thought the beds were comfortable and when we texted the owner regarding a loose handle on the shower, he came very quickly and replaced it. He was friendly and helpful.

OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, hotel in Kailua

Situated in Honolulu, 300 metres from Waikiki Beach, OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a restaurant.

The web site for the hotel is very much out of date. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Please update the website. I had asked for a very high room almost two to three months before coming. I meant high like the 20 up rooms. We got the 8 th floor. I asked and asked about being higher but he was adamant that was as high we could go. I gave up. Really gave up and we accepted the 8 th floor deciding what is the point of asking and telling the reason of asking. Hubby said just don't bother. So 8th floor overlooking the big hotel in front of us, glimpse of the sea between and the road noise. Putting us up high to be able to see the sunset and the sea would of made our long awaited holiday perfect but no...we were told no. Very very sad about this.

The hotel is near the beach and close to everything fun in Waikiki. The customer service is really good. The room was really clean and the bed so comfy. The mountain view room and city views as I had booked, was exactly the room I was prepared for.

Kailua is a quiet place to stay, away from the crowds in Honolulu. It is close to beaches and has easy access to grocery stores and restaurants in town. Access to activities in Honolulu are not far way via the Pali Highway.

I have loved visiting Kailua for at least 40 years!

I have loved visiting Kailua for at least 40 years! Unfortunately, social media has made it an even more popular destination for more people, so the secret is out, the tourists are in, making it less appealing to me. It is certainly not Waikiki or Lahaina yet, but there are more crowds each time I visit (and this is my second stay in Kailua in the last 8 months!).

The beautiful soft sands on Kalama & Kailua Beaches are wonderful to stroll. Boogey boarding is super fun! Rent a kayak from Kailua Beach Adventures and enjoy kayaking to the Mokulua Islands and Lanikai Beach!
