I really enjoy the place and location. The staff was great - they always are. My only problem was the internet and cell access. I couldn't get them on my phone even when I used the hotel's service unless I left my room and went into the lobby area. Otherwise, great hotel

We were visiting Davis so I stayed in west sac but really I think it would have been better to just stay in downtown Sac or near Old Sac. Nothing notable in West Sac and walking around our hotel had nothing interesting. Our hotel was in an industrial area. 10 minute drive to downtown Sacramento and 10 minute drive to Davis.

The area has a lower-middle class, sparse, rural feel.
The area has a lower-middle class, sparse, rural feel. Lots of inexpensive motels, fast-food eateries and strip-mall stores intermixed with--NOTHING.
There is a great deal of homelessness.
I bought food and necessities from a convenient supermarket across the street and discovered how the local transit bus system worked. Downtown Sacramento is just 2 miles to the east and is walkable.

Incredibly rude staff members Did not care about their customers and safe environment I'd have been better off sleeping on the streets At least I would not have been overcharged Considering they had a power outage So in short I paid for a room that was damp dark and no power no hot water No bueno

Lively crowd and up and coming businesses about.
Lively crowd and up and coming businesses about. City is thriving from a few years ago and still is continuing new projects and development from north side of Broderick to the south side of Southport. Small town vibe with big town feel with all the infrastructures popping up.

It’s a nice little city if you like quietness.
It’s a nice little city if you like quietness. Absolutely no night life, the eating leaves much to be desired. Raley Field is an awesome minor league ball park to thoroughly enjoy baseball, the riverfront is beautiful, and someday it will be a destination. Sacramento is just over the bridge, it offers great eating but the nightlife leaves you disappointed. The new Golden One Stadium is gorgeous and a great place to see a concert or basketball game, soccer is big in Sacramento and it looks like the city will get an expansion team deal very soon with a new stadium in what is known as The Rail Yards. Did I mention the eating, of course I did, it’s top notch and Sacramento should be proud to have so many unique and amazing eateries.

No breakfast, crappy little refreigerator with light on constantly, but no freezer compartment, and no accomodations for freezer space in hotel at all, only one waste basket in whole room, doors to closet and bathroom conflict, absolutly not ready for customers. With all the renovation, did anyone even try to stay in a room here? Coffee maker not plugged in and cups to recieve the coffee not the right size. Staff was affable and tried, but accommodations not ready for visitors
Um. The room smelled clean (like cleaned fresh) and the room was near the front. Away from the weird stuff happening in the back (cops where there in the morning, don’t know what they where doing and didn’t care). Other then that. Nothing. They where the only ones I could book and somewhat cheap (compared to everyone else) but I wish I would have payed the $20 extra to stay somewhere else
Staff is very nice. One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at. The ownership/management of the Echo Lodge is exceptional among motels/hotels everywhere. The upkeep and service at The Echo Lodge is quite amazing and I will be staying there again. Quiet and comfortable are some more highlights of The Echo Lodge!

This hotel was absolutely amazing! I had a King Suite and it there were so much room almost too much room because I didn’t even need all that space! Love the quiet nice location, everyone were so friendly & place is so clean—you can eat candy off the floor haha!
