There's so much to do around the Shaver Lake area, and the watersports and fishing options are great. If you want to go into the wilderness, there are plenty of hikes and trails that you can explore and get yourself "lost" in the wilderness. We only scratched the surface of everything we could have done, and hopefully, we go back in the future and explore some more.

Shaver lake gives you a really good nature experience, with some really good trails and a beautiful lake. If you have young children theres many activities you can do like fishing, hiking. I didnt try any restaurants so I can't comment on that. ONE thing it was so hard finding coffee around here!! The people are so friendly and getting around Shaver lake is so easy.
