Our stay at Hotel Avra was lovely. The location is perfect, right in front of the sea. The room was clean & tidy - a simple place, which had everything we needed for our stay. The highlight was how truly welcoming & kind the lady who runs the hotel was. Can't wait to go back - wish I could have a homemade Greek coffee in the sunny outside area of the hotel as I did while I was there!

If you decide to go to Ouranoupoli is a must to rent a boat.
If you decide to go to Ouranoupoli is a must to rent a boat. The cost is 70 eur/day (without permit) and you can go to Ammouliani and Drenia Islans by your self. There you can find restaurants with excellent food. You can stop in any area you want where you can spend some quality time. There are some prejudices about this city. Although I visited this city many times with my wife, we did not encounter anything that would disturb us. It is a very calm and peaceful city and its people are also very kind. Also, the food in the restaurants is very tasty, the prices are reasonable.
