Cleaning and sanitation work is very good, there are a few good room attendants treat guests very friendly, but the front desk staff on the morning of the check-out day constantly knock on the door to harass the guest is very dissatisfied, from the beginning of the thought that it is the guest's fault did not call them to explain, and I have lived in many other countries around the hotel, according to the practice is the morning front desk call to ask whether you need to continue the stay or check out, and then the guest will tell the approximate check-out time, just quietly pack yourself and your luggage and then leave beautifully. The front desk supervisor and service staff here do not have basic courtesy to treat the guests who stayed for more than ten days, the accommodation fee is basically equivalent to the average salary of the local people for a month, and then get such a result, my first day of check-in time is about three o'clock in the afternoon and the check-out time is eleven o'clock in the morning, I am an hour late, there are no 7, 8 strangers knocking on the door will not be delayed for so long, I told each of them that it was half an hour to leave, I don't know if the hotel owner will have such treatment here, you should take a good look at your staff management level。

Burnaby is a distance from Vancouver.
Burnaby is a distance from Vancouver. I did not realize this when I booked. It seems to be a business area and I was a tourist. Services were spot on from dining options to taxi availability. Every time I called a taxi, it arrived almost immediately and I was cheerfully driven into Vancouver.

An amazing neighborhood of Vancouver, you get the quietness and the green landscapes without the heavy traffic of downtown.
We had access to a number of restaurants mostly asian, and access to many places of interest including Metropolis mall on Kingsway.
It was very nice to go around in Burnaby, its parks and attractions.

With deep learn of train/bus systems and fine weather, the city offers better substitutes for those tall and costly tower hotels in downtown. Sky trains run every five min and ride chokers offered helpful transfer fully rides within 90 min.

Lots of great places to discover, and central park is great.
Lots of great places to discover, and central park is great. Some areas are a little less desirable but overall found it safe and easy to get around. Traffic can be ok-to-horrible fast, so awareness of the busy times is key. Great Sushi at "Sushi Modo".

very interesting. Lot's of Parks and walking trails.
Two of the parks are located on waterways, and two others are located on small lakes.
Their is lots and lots of fine dining venues.
In the Summer we have the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in the Park,
as well we have the Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival in the same park.
In addition we also have The Vancouver Opera Society in concert in the
same location.
No food served here, did not use kitchen much, but looked like it had everything you would need to bring your own groceries and make a meal. May have seen host in passing but did not meet.
Location was quite functional for us, and easy access from the Sky Train for the moderately mobile, Was about an 8 block walk to the Metrotown station. We were lucky to get some good directions from strangers at the bus as we departed, and found it easily as our phones did not work in Canada to google it.
Love everything, the helpful and friendly staffs, the clean and comfortable room, and strategic location. Me n my husband got stomach flu on the day we arrieved..thank God we recovered quickly after a full day rest at the hotel where we didnt have to worry of where to order foods for the rest of our fam cos the hotel connected to a big mall, metrotown mall so they could just easly go there to buy food and occupied themselves in the mall..very recomended hotel✌️✌️
Breakfast is good. Lots of selection. Area is clean.
Location of the hotel is close to many amenities, walking distance to restaurants and stores.
Room is clean, quiet, has a kitchenette although we did not use it coz we only stay for a night. Bathroom is spacious and clean and liked the shower. The kids loved the swimming pool it's open until 11pm😊. Over all stay is excellent.
Location was good and staff were very accommodating, friendly and professional
Hotel was good with Starbucks and Atlas restaurant on site very good food and drinks
Loved being able to include our pomeranian dog in our visit he was a hit with staff and guests
Overall stay was fantastic we would reccomend it and will return
Staff was very accommodating. We didn't check in until well after 2 am and we were greeted by the host and shown our room. In the morning they even allowed us to sleep in well past check out. The price was incredible! I have absolutely nothing negative to say. I would definitely stay at Burnaby east home again
The area was easy to locate! If you listen to information the owners state, it genuinely makes sense. You could always use google maps, and zoom in and it makes sense with the detail they send you! It’s in a completely safe area where all the noise is.
Great nice green location in Burnaby BC, a bus ride away from either Edmunds or Metrotown.
Host incredibly accommodating.
Large room, easy access to the property with clean shared washrooms with a nice equipped kitchen.
We liked the location - far enough away from the city traffic yet close enough to get to areas we wanted to visit. The owner was accommodating (he let us check in early), and the grounds were well kept and attractive.
Victory house operates as an unattended Airbnb. Which was not what I thought when booking. Random short term customers, much noise in the small hours at night. Maybe seen as good value for Beijing, and /or Burnaby.
I did not try the breakfast in hotel because the location is so great that I can walk to find the restaurant I like and fast food in crystal mall food court.
