The location was great as it is near the main square but not directly on it. We had a lovely big double room which was quiet and at the end of the corridor. The staff in the hotel are all absolutely brilliant (especially reception staff and room cleaning staff), nothing is too much trouble for them. We were there as a couple for a birthday celebration and our time at Hotel Stary exceeded all of our expectations. We loved it! The spa is excellent and we went there every day, one time we had the pool to ourselves. We didn’t book for breakfast as we don’t normally eat a big breakfast but we did go to the terrace on the 5th floor and have a coffee which was lovely in the nice weather and has a great view. The sky bar is quite busy if you prefer more of a social area, we were happier with the quieter terrace. The highlight of the hotel though is definitely the staff, cannot compliment them enough for looking after us so well.

Breakfast was excellent - not a vast selection of warm food - but certainly enough to satisfy - generally - we were very pleased with the dining facilities. The roof terrace (Sky Bar) has stunning views over the river and is a very pleasant spot to socialise. The staff were all friendly and helpful - standout kudos goes to Bart - who has a wicked sense of humour.

Great hotel very spacious rooms and really quiet area and quiet rooms. Nice breakfast included and staff helped us whenever we needed. Great packed breakfast for a day trip that we left before breakfast and they organised taxis for us.
