The studio apartment was modern, well-designed and fully functional. We changed from a hotel room upon arrival and this went smoothly.
This pleasant hotel is located in the residential area of El Pito, just 2 km from Cudillero Harbour and Aguilar Beach.

We arrived on the bus from Navia, via another bus from Muros de Calon. Said we would be arriving between 2&3. Staff member was waiting, very upbeat with better English that our very broken Scottish Spanish. But we got there in the end. Lol.. We were given the key to our we room . Great place., bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing. Was a mile to the top of Cuidierllo, then about a 1/2 mile down to the harbour area. Amazing fishing town, many restaurants and cafes/bars dotted along the climb. The day after took the Feve train to Aviles, had a walk around , fab old centre. Walk back to Salinas, amazing beach after a very very Industrial zone walk. Serious industrial area, steel, zinc, aluminium etc. This I must say does not detract from the wonderful centre of Aviles. Wonderful old building and a very beautiful park in the centre. After getting Feve back to hotel. The hotel also had a vending machine, everything a Euro. water, crisps, olives, beer. Cheers 😁😁

This hotel is nothing short of a hidden treasure, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all. The hotel itself is a marvel of design, exuding beauty and comfort in equal measure. However, the true highlight of our stay was the owner, Rogelio.
Our flight to Asturias arrived late, causing us to return to the airport to collect our rental car the next day. Rogelio graciously offered to drive us to the airport as he also had something to do in the town. But the journey didn’t end there. He took us on an impromptu tour of the town, sharing fascinating insights about local architecture and the rich history of Asturias. This personal touch added a layer of depth to our understanding of the area, enhancing our overall experience.
Rogelio’s dedication to ensuring we had the best possible experience in Asturias was truly remarkable. His passion for his hometown was infectious and added a unique dimension to our trip.
The culinary offerings at the hotel deserve a special mention. The food was nothing short of spectacular, with the breakfast standing out as a particular highlight. The quality and taste surpassed all the cafes we had visited before.
In conclusion, this hotel offers not just a place to stay, but a complete cultural immersion, thanks to the efforts of Rogelio. It’s a place where comfort, history, and gastronomy blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what Asturias has to offer.

Hotel was well positioned near the facilities, restaurants etc of Cudillero. There's only one road down into Cudillero and the hotel was on the road but was very quiet. We stayed only only one night so made few demands on the hotel.
Situated in Rellayo, 600 metres from Concha de Artedo, Hotel Casa Fernando II features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Convenient location for an overnight stop while cycling the Camino Nortes. Clean modern bedroom. Helpful staff, we arrived at 3.45 and there was no problem ordering lunch which was excellent and great value. The restaurant closed at 6pm.

for travelers seeking a more quiet and farm like atmosphere this is a great place. Guests are close to a couple of ocean sites to experience the beauty of the Cantabria coast line.
Cordillera is a complicated drive as the one street into the pueblo is very narrow, no parking and crowded. It is like visiting a few of the cities along the Amalfi Coast. It is a tourist place although the overall ambiance is impressive.

A picturesque town on the Camino Santiago but also good for anyone wanting to visit some of the spectacular beaches along the Asturian coast. You can walk to one beach from town, 2k each way along a quiet road; and you can easily drive to several more famous beaches. If you’re hiking this section of the Camino, it’s a perfect place for an overnight stop.
Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Shower and bath. It was nice to take a bath after walking on the Camino for a while. Cute balcony for every room. Professional staff. Had a great lunch with two courses, postre, and drink. Very close to everything in town. Included breakfast was sensational: eggs, ham, bread, yogurt, cereal, etc with selection of drinks. My favorite place on el camino so far. The trail goes right next to the hotel.
Beautiful place to stay, so welcoming and warm. everything you could need. Well kept property that is a fairytale, with the kindest man, Pepin, who lives and runs the hotel. Pepin sees all the details and makes the stay worthwhile. Do not pass this place if you are considering it. He told us that they do breakfast and dinner options during pilgrim peak season.
After a long walk on the Camino del Norte, this hotel is a great place for a very comfortable night's rest. The personal was very friendly and made you feel welcome as a pilgrim ;) The rooms are big and the bathrooms modern and clean. Thank you to the staff at the reception for the camino Infos. I highly recommend this place.
Probably one of the best places you could possibly stay on the Camino Norte. Absolutely wonderful: staff, decor, comfort, restaurant. The history of the building and its connection to the family that operates the hotel is heartwarming. Definitely worth the effort to stay here.
When we got to the hotel we discovered we had mistakenly booked a single rather than a double room. Our host rectified the booking and accommodated us. We enjoyed home cooked food during our stay as well as very comfortable, clean facilities. Loved it there!
Great location along the Camino, at the entrance to Soto de Luiña. The restaurant at the hotel is great, not that many choices in town, and it was raining. The decor of the hotel with early 20th century pop art is fun. Staff was very kind and welcoming.
An excellent example of a small family enterprise that absolutely excels in every aspect and detail of the hotel business...with an amazing back story that transcends the generations..this one is not to be missed.
wonderful little hotel near the seaside and the mountains. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. breakfast is very good but could be improved by offering better coffee and natural orange juice
Loved the way the family had incorporated the previous use of the building (Tailors workshop) into the hotel. Lovely people and fantastic Pilgrims meal.
