A very clean hotel that is basic but meets all of your needs on the Camino. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a washer and drying for your clothing. And the location at the centre of the Old Town and on the Camino was very useful. The attached restaurant provides a good breakfast and is nice for sitting outside and having a drink when you arrive.

I recently stayed at this hostel and had a generally positive experience. One of the biggest advantages of this shelter is its affordability, which is great for travelers on a budget. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facility is commendable, and I was particularly impressed by the staff’s excellent service attitude; he was both friendly and helpful.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

The bathroom was clean and was segregated so you could use the toilet if someone was taking a shower. My emphasis in my reviews is in the convenience of charging your phone and having a space to place your phone as well as other belongings and a personal light. I had a window at my bed, which I appreciated as well as a lower bunk with no one above me. They have cloth sheets and pillowcases and offer blankets. It was quiet.

Stayed finishing Camino in May, stayed in October to restart the final section. Will stay again on next Camino or visit to the area.

Cozy main sitting area. Nicely situated in the heart of the main town.
