As pilgrims we really enjoyed the comfort and price for the room. Also the possibility of using the kitchen was great. It is worth mentioning that there were two lovely cats in the flat.

It is great value and very conveniently located for getting to the ferry port. It is located on the end of a retail park with another shopping centre across the bridge.
Plenty of parking in -1 and has car chargers.
The restaurant is pleasant and inexpensive.
Easy access from and to the motorway (stick to the speed limits as there are many speed cameras on the motorway.

We only stayed for the night as we were on a road trip, but it was a pleasant discovery. Nice town, great food. We enjoyed the architecture and the nice atmosphere in the city center. Very lively in the streets, coffee places and restaurants, even if it was in the middle of the winter.

I was not a fan of the location where the hotel was.
I was not a fan of the location where the hotel was. It was not Santurce and not really anywhere definate. Nice looking hotel but needs some work on it. Loos as if it might be struggling to keep going.
Because of the noise problem after a lot of asking- they eventually gave us a different room on a different floor.
The lady at the desk was lovely but she said she was not able to contact the manager at the weekend and she had no one to turn to with our complaint of no sleep. She changed our rooms but we had to stay out of the hotel until after 3pm when the new room would be ready.
She removed the car parking charge when we left as a nice gesture. parking was free on the roads on Sundays anyway but it was a nice gesture.
A better room and a good nicghts sleep on the first night would have been preferable. Had a wonder 28 days travelling in home stays and variety of hotels and villas around France and Spain. This was the most disappointing. Will not return.

We would like to have had the opportunity to have stayed a little longer but from the little that we saw it appeared to be a thriving and bustling town with interesting places to visit. There are plenty of bars with a great choice of pintxos ( Tapas ) .

Santurce is a small town with very good public transport.
Santurce is a small town with very good public transport. There are plenty of bars and places to eat around as well as supermarkets. It is situated on the main Bilbao metro system which gives easy access to all the beauty of the seaside resorts around you. I used Santurce as a place to stay so that I could visit friends and family in Las Arenas and Getxo.

excellent for transport - rail, metro and buses all within a few minutes' walk meant you could be exactly where you wanted to be in Bilbao with the minimum of inconvenience. we were there to see family in Sestao and so we ate in various places around the area and had very good value for money.

The food for menu of the day was good( although sent starters back as not hot enough the staff quickly obliged. Value for mone including drinks. Breakfast buffet also very good. No bar service until 4pm. The underground car park expensive. Price wasn’t mentioned ion check in. The hotel company is not the one advertised hence confusion finding it. Only one sign showing hotel direction
Rooms were clean and a good size and over looked a large square at the back of the hotel, very good value for money. Breakfast was a good selection of continental style food.
We chose the hotel due to its location to the ferry port which is about 15 mins away.
Good safe underground parking facilities with large spaces. reception staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations and gave us a print out of how to get to the ferry when we booked out.
We had room 601 which also has a huge terrace with outside sunbeds , table and chairs offering spectular views over the harbour
comfortable room with an excellent bathrom
On site underground parking with lift to the hotel- not pre bookable limited space - early arrival needed
Only 15 mins form the ferry port
Uber/taxi or subway to the centre - avoided having to drive through middle of bilboa- would probably still be there!!
Excellent hotel. Friendly staff who answered promptly my questions online whilst booking. Good secure car park. Hotel restaurant is fine (had dinner and breakfast) and reasonably priced. Hotel spotlessly clean throughout. Room and bed comfortable. Short route to the ferry port (Britanny Ferries, Bilbao - Portsmouth) with good simple directions provided by the hotel staff. I would definitely stay here again.
Our 2nd stay here. Lovely hotel with secure parking in a small town only 10 minutes drive from the ferry port. Very good value for money, including a continental breakfast with a good range of products. Lovely staff, comfortable beds , and a roomy bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of cafe bars nearby. Can recommend the Kanonazo bar which has an excellent restaurant in the back.
The overall experience for the price was great! The parking was very handy right below the hotel with straight access to the rooms from elevator. Staff was super friendly and they answered all of our questions patiently regarding covid restrictions in the city. They even prepared some city leaflets and a map with tips before our arrival. 100% suggested!!
This exceeded our expectations. A wonderful experience. Our premium room had a large terrace overlooking the ocean. The hotel was very welcoming to our two dogs. Leaving a bowl and dog treats for them. It's a beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff. We will definitely go again. Thank you.
I was travelling with my parents and it can be very difficult to find hotel rooms for three adults as many hotels ask that you book a second room! This hotel had rooms for three people available so that saved me some money. That's about the only good thing about the hotel.
Beautiful hotel, our room was on the first floor with a balcony with wonderful views. Enormous room with a separate bathroom and also a washroom with wardrobes. The location is excellent for catching the ferry which is a 10 minute drive away.
Good location for a stop over whilst travelling the North Coast of Spain. Quiet hotel in a nice old building. Booked last minute & were given one of the best rooms with a balcony. Secure parking underground.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was included and perfectly delightful. It's an older hotel so it's not the shiniest but it was a safe, cozy place to start my Basque adventure.
Location to the train station and underground station in Peñota.
Decent breakfast, parking facility at reduced price for motorcycles.
Close to Bilbao port for early sailing.
