As I arrived early in the day, my room wasn't ready, but the cleaning staff helped me up the stairs with my suitcase, and allowed me to leave my luggage in my room until later.

Great view of blooming apple trees both in yard, in front of hotel and old apple tree gardens a mile away. Polite and welcoming service with an option to order a three course dinner from local and seasonal products. Our room was upgraded to a better one, which included a balcony and was well designed. The staff were lovely and helpful and went out of their way to explain things to us in English. Our twin room was very cosy and quiet on the top floor of the building behind. We were able to store our bicycles safely here.The food at Kakis is just wonderful with so many delicious choices for dinner and breakfast, which was excellent. The adjoining bakery is very tempting! Really enjoyed our stay here.
