Our room was a great size with a lovely shower room, however the fold out futon which our son used wasn't very comfortable but luckily he can sleep anywhere!

I took pictures
First thing I do is check under the duvet and bedsheets. Black long hair under the bedsheets. So bedsheets not changed or cleaned at all.
I'd love to show you the photos.
Wasn't impressed.

The value of the food and drink on offer in the bar was incredible. I was very pleasantly surprised by the value for money in the bar, and the variety of the menu. I wanted to eat here ten times over. The room was as anticipated, and on the first floor - the staff listened to our request and were happy to accommodate. The staircase up was a little narrow but that suited my grandma as she could lean on the walls and staircases.

The Tamworth Arms is a great place to stay, with friendly staff, very good food and clean rooms.
We enjoyed our walk around the town. The castle looked lovely all lit up at night. It would have been nice to have been there during the day to visit the castle and find out more about the King of Mercia.

Tamworth has a lot in it.
Tamworth has a lot in it. A massive retail park with loads of shops, even got a Primark, lots of food options on it too, Nandos, Pizza Exp, Mcdonalds, KFC and loads more. There's big ski centre, its got everything if you want to venture out at night or find yourself short of something you forgot to pack.

The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at.
The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at. Unfortunately the town centre looked tired and neglected. To many closed down pubs and shops. Shame because the pubs that are open are good, as are some of the shops.
The room was lovely and a great size, spotlessly clean.
The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful and made recommendations in the area. Then at breakfast again she was extremely welcoming. We mentioned we were thinking of moving to the area and she was very kind and generous with her time. The breakfast was great value and very tasty.
If you want or nees to stay in Tamworth don't look anywhere else.
We chose hotel as very close to Drayton manor. Should have looked more into location as a swimming pool next door we could have made use of. Beautiful surroundings with a very short walk across the bridge to a fabulous play park for kids due to open soon, skate park, cafe, castle and gardens. Wish we were there for more than our trip to just the theme park. Would definitely come to Tamworth again.
Really good value for the price not the greatest hotel room in we've stayed in but for the price it was what It should be.
The staff every single one was absolutely fantastic so help full and welcoming anything we asked for we got they cant do enough for you we can honestly say even the the rooms are very average the staff were one of the most accommodating in all the hotels we have been to.
From the moment of arrival to checking out, the staff were fantastic. Nice room (so many power points!), traditional building but very up to date interior, food was superb - dined at the hotel all 3 nights, comprehensive yet clear menu. Great location for those travelling by car and an easy walk into town, seemed to be on a few bus routes too. Very clean too, I could go on.
Frida, Saturday and Sunday and Monday I would rate as ( to 9.5) Sunday afternoon I would rate as ZERO or negative. The BAR STAFF WERE ATTROCIOUS for this reason I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Also which I believe is illegal NO INSTRUCTIONS for IN CASE of Emergency!!!! HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET A LICENSE TO OPERATE. Already contacted Tamworth council and Fire Brigade
Room was brilliant really clean, comfortable and great value for money. Staff were excellent and very helpful, Breakfast was good with a large variety of options. Location of the hotel was ideal close to the Town Centre and local attractions.
Beautifuly refurbished hotel with a very high standard of decor, comfort and cleanliness. All staff from receptionists to breakfast staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Food was good and reasonably priced
Can’t fault the hotel at all, was lovely , room was really good size. We loved the massive bathroom with both shower and bath.
Breakfast was amazing , something for everyone.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
This is my third time staying here and I couldn't be happier with my time there.
Makes visiting home and seeing friends a lot more enjoyable when you know you've got a decent hotel to go back to.
turned up to this hotel and it was not open. Empty property with a building site around d the back. Tried to phone them with no answer and we had to find alternative accommodation!
Spectacular accommodation everything thought of for a great stay.
Only a short walk to the supermarkets and to Tamworth Town Centre from the accommodation.
Thank you so much
Location was excellent. Food(breakfast) was very good with plenty of variety. Restaurant was clean and tidy. The general atmosphere in the hotel was pleasant and welcoming.
Having moved away from Tamworth when I go back to visit friends it's my first choice every time .excellent rooms excellent staff just all round quality
