It was right next to the lake ferry giving easy access to other parts of the lake. Vouchers were given for the car park very close by.
there was a great path, one mile long leading to Newby Bridge, where we sat outside by the river with a relaxing drink.

A pleasantly situated hotel on the river.
A pleasantly situated hotel on the river. Our room was large and overall comfy, with a great bed. However, we found the hotel overpriced particularly foodwise which we felt was of standard quality. We had numerous negative feelings and left a day earlier. The hotel did refund a days stay which was good of them. My husband and I have much experience of hotels, Food service, customer service and felt this hotel could be so much better if they revert to first class service. I would not choose to stay there again, sadly.

The only negative was that the lakeside allowed Dogs in the hotel. I love dogs but think when you go to an expensive hotel you don’t need dogs staying in the bedrooms.
The Huntsman pub was very good for food.
While we were eating our meal there were 3 dogs running around the pub and not under control.
This was bad owners not bad dogs.
Beautiful location
Nice cosy B&B 20 min drive from Bowness-on-Windemere. The room was warm, which was a relief after getting wet during the day. Small bathroom but fine for a weekend. There is only a big overhead shower, no handheld one (personal preference). Colin was super nice and we were able to change our BF time to early morning so we could make the most of the day. He offers a good choice for BF with various cereals, musli, fruit, toast and English BF. Parking is easy on the property. I'd stay again.
Absolutely stunning hotel all the staff were super friendly
The swimming pool is quite small but all you need to chill out and enjoy the Spa facilities which includes the Jacuzzi Steam room and Sauna very relaxing.
The Bedroom was very nice with a super large comfortable bed with a nice shower which was super clean.
The Breakfast is not a buffet style you get table service which was delightful and a really good choice the breakfast was cooked to perfection.
Our stay was lovely! couldnt recommend Newby Bridge Caraven Park enough. After needing to change the date due to the loss of my Father the staff were so helpful. The caravan was lovely spacious and modern and the little touches of the bag of treats/toys for our dog and the bottles of prosecco on arrival were extremely thoughtful. This is the 2nd time i have stayed and will definately be back.
Fine lake views, very enjoyable from the terrace on a fine day over lunch or afternoon tea. The food was fine, wholesome and imaginative. The staff are universally friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. The boats to the rest of the lake were very close by. Better than the photos, the swimming pool is long enough for good exercise.
Hotel is in a great location in the southern tip of Windermere with pretty views. Literally a few steps away and you can grab the boat to Bowness or Ambleside. same with a small steam train to Haverthwaite. Spa facilities were lovely. Breakfast was typical, nothing amazing but nothing I felt was missing also.
Ideal location for exploring the Southern Lake District
Plenty of car parking.
Good Bar and Lounge area, games room was a bonus.
Food in restaurant was generally good, although slightly limited choice but nightly specials menu gave a bit of variety
Bedroom was Ok with nice hot shower
Breakfast was very good, great choice and excellent service
Room was comfortable, well presented, clean and spacious.
Dinner was a very limited menu which was repeated the second day. We had dinner on the first night and went elsewhere after the disappointing service and meal.
nice views from front of hotel. Pool and spa were nice though very hot so not suitable for all. Breakfast was nice though sometimes a very long wait for the food as was all table service. Drinks came first and then breakfast itself maybe up to an hour afterwards!
Spa is lovely and Spa staff are perfect…really friendly, great facilities and very relaxing,
Had Dinner in the pub and it was delicious as was the breakfast… met with a smile and really good choices on the menu
Impressive building, impressive location.
Food was good but unimaginative menu.
Bar was just ok.
Room was as expected, rather sad that there's no maid service.
Overall the hotel interior is now 'dull'.
Hotel clean and comfy.Breakfast and restaurant meal superb with brilliant staff.. If you have access to the Pool and Spa it is an ideal way to start or end yiur day in the Lakes
We paid for superior room.
Often that is a slightly bigger room.
This hotel it is a jacuzzi bath, a lake view and a 4 poster bed.
Breakfast also a decent buffet style.
