I was disappointed with the restaurant, no one serving customers you had to go up to be served. This was inconvenient as im disabled I have problems standing up for any period of time and walking anywhere as I have severe arthritis and swollen feet from a heart problem.The food quality was very poor. It was not a restaurant, but a café, the furniture was very old. I paid alot of money to stay here . The room was average. . When I arrived the room was freezing and I had to have it out up higher as I have poor circulation due to a heart condition.
The staff were lovely.
The bed was not that comfortable.
The breakfast was good
Don't agree that it was worth £132 pounds for one night, half that would of been better. The poor quality food was really expensive.

Everything was impeccably clean and to a very comfortable standard, all the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, the area and connections are all excellent.

An effort had been made to add small details with labels in the room. Two glasses with a bottle of dark liquid on the desk with a label saying ‘take a sip’ although there was no description of what it was. Bathroom was presentable. Reception staff friendly.

It was annoying having to repeatedly sign in to the WiFi. The staff made The Channings - it could be smarter but it felt great to stay because the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean with nice little touches like a personalised welcome note and some sweets to enjoy! I ate in restaurant and the food was delicious, they were offering a 2 course Spring menu which had enough choice to make it a good option for my 2 night stay.

Not being a driver public transport was good for getting to different locations good for solo travellers major city a bos ride away would visit again river cruise was very good and hop on hop off bus is a great way to explore the city of Bristol
