Room a little basic/bland to our expectations. Although it was modelled on steam engine times - could do with a little colour but fully functional, quirky and clean. We would definitely stay again as it's a great location (private allocated parking), friendly staff and fantastic breakfast!!

A 10 minute walk into the town is fantastic.
So clean and spacious, lovely little patio area in a perfect sun trap with a table and chairs. Massive bathroom and perfectly clean, huge soft towels, tea and coffee making plus toiletries all provided.
Sarah was an amazing host, great communication and so helpful. Had an amazing last minute break away which so peaceful.
We will be booking again very soon, we lovely Bridgnorth and to have somewhere so close and idyllic to stay is an absolute bonus, could not rate it high enough.

A lovely, clean, friendly, vibrant and bustling little town.
A lovely, clean, friendly, vibrant and bustling little town. Nice to see no run-down or empty premises. The views from the High town are spectacular, as are the walks around the castle gardens and the quirky streets both in the town and leading to the low town. The funicular railway is a must. Shops and eateries are in abundance which ranges from coffee, breakfast, light lunch, takeaways, cheap bites to formal dining. The Castle inn provides delicious home cooked food in an inviting cosy traditional pub with low beams. Bridgnorth is well worth a visit, but be warned - you'll want more than a day trip here to sample all it's delights !

Although the room was a twin, it was not the picture on the confirmation.
The hotel was very tired and neglected in both maintenance and cleanliness on internal structures.
I wouldn't stay there again as they have no empathy of requests due to sudden illness. My son and his fiance had a second room ( I had booked for them ) but unfortunately had a serious bout of covid and was admitted to hospital only wanted to move the date but we were told they don't do that as people 'play 'them. They had already been paid for the room we didnt request a refund!
so people be aware of whom you book with.
Because of no reply from Booking.com either we most likely not book through them either....

It's great for It's historic steam railway.
It's great for It's historic steam railway. The thing that was disappointing was the cliff railway out of use. People depend on it to get to high Town. Hopefully it will be in working order soon.

Bridgnorth is great for a its shops, eateries and pubs.
Bridgnorth is great for a its shops, eateries and pubs. The Seven Valley Railway goes from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster run by fantastic volunteers and provides a great day out. We ate in The Legend, a Chinese, The Shakespeare and Wetherspoons. The meals were ok in each. Wetherspoons being the cheapest.

Loved Bridgenorth and all its quirkiness.
Loved Bridgenorth and all its quirkiness. The buildings were super. Took you back to a different timne. Loved the quirky little streets that went off and showed you haow all of the town is used up.
Bit dissapointed not to be able to go on the lift on the side of the cliff. Will go back to go on that and also to go on the steam engine trip with afternoon tea
Arrived 30mins earlier than planned, but room was ready and we were allowed to check in early, our room was no1 and huge, great bed and lovely shower.
Great bar with a great selection of beers and ginn, and the outside seating area overlooks the River,
The pub is a stones throw from the cliff railway that takes you to the high Town, or you can have a nice walk up the hill, definitely going again,
Clean, cosy and comfortable with all amenities needed for a relaxing holiday.Town centre just around the corner.Quiet at night, comfortable beds, upstairs and downstairs bathroom.Shower and bath.Easy check in and good communication with host.Coffee shop next door and shops, restaurants and market only a minutes walk away. Ideally located for everything you need
This is a quirky apartment with interesting detailing. Location was great for what we needed. Bed was really comfortable and towels super-soft. I know Bridgnorth well so knew that the apartment was located in Low Town. High Town is a walk up either a steep road (Cartway) or Soneway Steps as the Cliff Railway is currently out of action.
The Lodge was located in a quiet lane not far from Bridgnorth township. It had two outdoor areas had all the facilities you would expect in your own home, including a clothes line and off street parking. It was clean, well heated and modern. We only spent a few days there but it would have been a great place to stay for a longer time.
Very comfortable cottage central Low Town location, lots of character, well equipped. Generous amount of breakfast items, also crisps, biscuits & cans of G&T, Nespresso machine & plenty of pods. Nice sheltered small sunny garden. Able to park outside to unload then reasonably priced public parking just round the corner.
The property is in an ideal location close to the town centre and other amenities. We found the cottage to be so clean and well equipped with everything you require. Having a parking space on site was a real bonus.
Great Breakfast, comfortable room, location right on town centre, easy to park, friendly staff and very friendly proprietor, spotlessly clean, tv in room, bathroom white and bright, fan in the room if its too hot.
Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will use you again.
The flat was very clean and well presented, loved the design.
I'm a Bridgnorth girl and this was so handy for visiting my family.
Excellent one night stay in comfortable hotel.Friendly and helpful staff and good Covid protocols.Food in restaurant-both evening meal and breakfast-most acceptable.
