Nice town. I studied at University Science Malaysia so always been on this side very often due to the ferry and bus service. A lot has changed in the past 20 years but still, some of the old sceneries and buildings were there such as the Convent School, The Hospital and the Indian temples.

I loved the local food here, reasonable price and variety of foods.
I loved to walk in the supermarket besides the Sunway Carnival Mall.
I've found a lot of Chinese food in Jalan Chai Leng.
Besides, there are many factory in Perai area also, many lorries, makes the road not so smooth.
No Breakfast in the hotel but many restaurant available in the area including pizza and secret recipe.
I really appreciate the staff on duty on my checkout day 21st morning. I also forgot my laptop bag and the Indian staff on duty managed to call me and remind me that I have left the bag in the hotel. He kept it for me until I came back and retrieved it. I really appreciate the sincerity of the staff and the entire Masson Hotel team.

Everything was so good, from the service, breakfast and the room itself. But what i like the most is their service. I always stay at 5 star hotel but this is the best service so far. Will repeat next time.
Meritus is beside mydin and BHP station. Its easy to go eiher penang or kulim. Viewing from room are very beautiful . Aircond are very good. Everything is good except comment.
Room was clean when we checked in but Hotel room cleaners are lack in carrying out their responsible for cleaning and maintaining the room on daily basis during our stay.
