A very friendly town and not very much visited by tourists which for us, made it quite interesting. The Hindu Temple of 1008 Shiva is wonderful and very interesting. Salem can be a good base to make day trips to other sites of interest, but sadly, Salem does not have very much within the town.

I booked 2 business class rooms from 9/11 to 12/11 at the Salem Radisson hotel and had the worst experience in my whole life.
( 1) The Key Card would always not work and I had to come down all the time to get it activated (!!!)
NOW TO MY WORST EXPERNCE AT THE RESTARUNT:
I WANTED TO HAVE LUNCH AND WENT AT AROUND 1:30 TO THE RESTARUNT IN TH GROUND FLOOR AND ORDERED A PLATE OF DIMSUMS .
AFTER WAITIING PATIENLY FOR ALMOST ONE HOUR. I HEAR SOME VOICE BEHIND ME AND A GUY WAS ASKING ALL THE GUST WHO WERE SEATED " DID YOU ORDER A DIMSUM? " FINALY COMES TO ME AND SAYS THE DIMSUMS THAT I ORDERED HAS BEEN SOLD OUT!!
I QUESTINOED HIM HOW IS POSSIBLE AND EVEN IF SO HE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME IMMEDIALTY UPON MY ORDER OR AT LEAST IN 5 TO 10 MINUTS. I ASED HIM IF I CAN SEE THE CHEFF AND HE SAID I AM THE CHEFF. UPON QUESTIONING HIM HOW SUCH MISTAKE CAN HAPPEN HE STARTED RAISING HIS VOICE ON ME . I QUITLY LEFT THE PLACE AND MADE A COMPLAIN TO THE GM.
THE ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF IS SO RUDE. I DONT THINK THE GM HAS EVEN QUESTIONED THE CHEFF OF HIS BEHAVIOUR WHAT SO EVER.
WORST SERIVICE AND COMPLETLY RUEINED MY DAY. !!!

Yercaud is a great hill station to visit about 1 Hr from Salem
Skandashramam Murugan Temple is great for Devotees. Prasadam of Shakkara Pongal & Lemon Rice cancels need for lunch. Hordes of Monkeys ensure no morsel of the prasadam is wasted by any chance whatsoever. The monkeys cutely come up to you and stretch out their palms for a tiny bit of the prasadam.

Its a nice city, though smaller in size as compared to other but in terms of infrastructure it is really good. Good eateries and hotels to stay @ Salem. However not much to see @ Salem, however you can do a short visit to Yercaud, an hour drive from Salem.
The property with heritage feel, Staffs ,so humble and always ready to serve even at midnight, hassle free check in and Breakfast was awesome .Restaurants serves quality food that can meet any 5 start hotel like. They were so cordial,it will be less to write about the hospitality,They are the best & I liked pool side restaurant too.So big property and specious rooms with heritage look.Fantastic experience.I strogly recommend who ever visiting Salem to go for this property.IT IS UNIQUE.
I enjoyed my stay here so much I've booked rooms here for my return journey as well. On a bike ride, i needed a place for a night halt and this hotel was perfect. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Neat bathroom and i enjoyed the luxurious hot shower. They don't provide room service, though, citing covid protocols, although I'm not sure they follow that to a T. But not a big deal. There's A2B right outside.
The Hotel is well maintained with all basic amenities. The location is non-commercial, you can expect calmness, but you don't have much of a choice to go out and explore nearby shops or restaurants. It is best for families. I experienced power cuts once in my stay, and the power was restored in 2-3 mins. Swiggy/Ola services are available.
Booked a superior room , property poorly maintained, Flush tank knob broken and not working properly, Shower scaled with lime and not working, Water leak patch in the roof. In total terrible stay, Request refund from hotel for providing such services after taking a five star room rate. Disappointed with booking.com.
It's wonderfull clean and best , perfect for families and also a business trip staff are marvelous very response in time one of the best stays in salem..
The food is fantastic and good 👍👍👍
Service Crews are the best...

This is hotel is the worst one....Staff are terrible....front desk guys were worst and indifferent..i went with family and they have no consideration...rooms are worst quality...AC is broken and beds have bugs in it...gloomy ambience
The best hotel to stay with family. The location is assessable which made the travelling within the local easy. The rooms are way more than comfortable. Staffs are polite and respectful. Loved the stay here.
like the hotel a little . didn’t like some staff. To get one xtra towel took more than half hour? Too much. some ‘influenced ‘ people may write good review. But not again, I will not go to such hotels again.
Being a 4 star hotel, you could have included complimentary breakfast, otherwise it was good..Madesh had smiling face and was helpful, even the security at the entrance greeted with a broad smile
