Super friendly staff! So welcoming and helpful. We received a welcome-watermelon juice upon arrival and we were helped with our luggage and shown around the facilities by the lovely staff. They refilled their stock of our favorite beer so that they wouldn’t run out, and helped us organize a super friendly taxi driver to take us to the airport. So nice location with sun beds in the shadow of the palm trees.

    Cute boutiques, beautiful beach, great swimming, good massage, a nice size town for a stroll, friendly people, lack of touts on the beach - all in all, a really good arrangement of all things you need on a beach holiday.

    Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous...

    Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets. The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of. Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

    The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes...

    The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.

    Agonda is a great place to relax and destress. Theres not much to do there so go with the intention of just chilling, swimming and eating well. The sunsets are amazing so stay on the beach to watch the sun go down.

    South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and...

    South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. Overall South Agonda is a beautiful place I would recommend to all.

    To be on the beach and able to sit on my deck in peace and then stroll onto the sand and swim In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all Pretty basic but fan and air conditioning efficient. Comfortable bed and pillows! Wonderful unspoilt beach .

    Location was great, it’s on the end of Agonda beach which means it’s even quieter than the already quiet agonda. The Villas face onto the beach meaning sitting out on the deck is a pleasure. The staff were very nice, attentive and friendly. The hotel has two restaurants, we only tried the one on the beach, it was amazing, the food was great and the staff were great. One of their curries was so good I asked the chef for the recipe and he came up to the restaurant to tell me how to cook it at home. All round a great stay.

    Restaurant food is awesome, all meals are nice. Italian breakfast, chicken sandwiches, sea food thali, chicken Xacuti are must to try. Restaurant is open all day from 8.30-09.00 AM till 11-11.30 PM. Guesthouse Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean (all thanks to Housekeeping Staff : Sunil) with basic required amenities. Perfect place for bagpackers or if you are looking for budget / value for money stay at quiet area of South Goa. 2 mins walk from beach is added advantage. ATM, shopping street are available nearby.

    Cleanliness and behaviour of staff was very good. It was a comfortable stay. Room rate was best bet at agonda. Food prices were a bit higher side but food was tasty. Beach was at 2 minute walking distance. Nice ambience. I did a lot of research to get the best deal. In nutshell you won't get room with this much facilities with such a reasonable price other than My Friends Place. Whenever I will be visiting at agonda again I would prefer to stay here only.

    The place is beautiful, I liked the interior. It's spacious. It's on road and just 200m from Agonda beach. I wanted to have peaceful nights away from crowd and that's what it provided. All south goa places could be easily covered from here. I visited even Netravali from here. The owner is very good, he don't bother you and help providing any necessities. The room has fridge too and a kitchen if you want to cook something.

    One of the best hotel in Agonda Beach. Reception was very helpful; the bungalows are beautiful (we had 3 - 2 side view and one no sea view. All were perfect. There are lots of restaurants nearby, the beach is in front of the hotel, everything was perfect. Breakfast was super ok. You can choose one from the list (6 types of breakfast- all including one natural fresh and one coffee or tea). The wi-fi was very good.

    The location and staff are amazing. We had one of the beachfront huts. If im honest I didn't realise how expensive these were compared to some accommodation in Agonda, and we didn't use the private tub once as you're right on the beach. (Basically I recommend staying here but think the cheaper rooms offer the best value). That said it was an amazing stay and the staff are really lovely

    Hotel right on the beach. Really nice clean rooms that were masonry built with ceiling fans and AC (kept cooler than the beach huts). Food was great and the staff were superb. Sun loungers were on the lawn to the side of the hotel with some shade under big tree which we liked (loungers on the sand can be a pain when it’s really hot sand!!!). All in all a great hotel.

    The location is amazing. Right on the white sands of agonda beach. The best thing about the hotel is the warm and courteous staff. They really made us comfortable and feel at home. The food and drinks at the restaurant are amazing. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else for meals. Overall, an amazing beautiful stay right on the Agonda beach.

    Location 10/10, hands down. Proximity to the beach , room had a good balcony and spacious bedroom and a decent sea view . The team was kind and ready to help ( the shower was completely clogged up when I arrived and they changed it completely which was nice ) Lovely people.

    Nice Cottages across the street from the beach. 2 Minutes walk to beautiful and clean Agonda Beach. Owner was very friendly. He arranged a Tuktuk for us to go to next destination. Lots of places to eat nearby. Also lots of shops in the village for shopping.
