We stayed overnight because it was conveniently close to the Großglockner, and we were really blown away by this hotel! The owners were lovely, the rooms were really nice, and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. There was also a walking/cycling path at the back of the hotel that went along the river — it was great for an evening stroll.

As we were touring through Europe on our motorcycles we stopped her for two nights to explore the brilliant Grossglockner - Tattoo Pension is in a perfect location for the Grossglockner - (just up the road) - sit on your balcony with a beer from the honesty box and watch the bikes (and cars) go by! - brilliant. The owners are very friendly and helpful - and provide good food in the evenings - very laid back homely feel about it - parking facility away from the front is also available for our bikes - will be go back!

We would highly recommend this place
A superb hotel in a wonderful location and an excellent base for a 3 night stay to explore the area.
The manageress Moni was brilliant.... helpful, friendly and efficient and assisted superbly by Manu who despite multi-tasking and balancing the service of the bar and the restaurant never made a mistake and was always attentive and smiling..... thank you both.
The rooms were brilliant and the restaurant provided excellent meals.
The breakfasts were varied and plentiful.
Such a great place to stay with excellent staff.
Very nice location with a lot of hiking options (both immediate from Bad Lainach, but also a lot more in vicinity). Hotel is nice, it is peaceful area so you can have a good rest, and you can also count on the dinner in the hotel. Menu is somewhat limited, but meals are well prepared and staff is pleasant
The personal are so kind and the local people is awesome. I will always recommend this Hotel to know the real local people in Austria. I had such a good time and the view on the balcony its amazing. I will never forget the persons that I met in Rangersdorf.
Great staff but a tired hotel with limited nearby amenities. You'll be hard pressed to find even basic Austrian fare within 20 minutes drive when it's off-season. Although pretty, Lainach has few mountain-village charms. The terrace was very nice though.
Everything is superb. Firendly landlord and good breakfast. The hotel is every silent at night. The view through the window is rather good. I would like to stay here again.
Small hotel but that makes you feel at home
