Everything was comfortable and clean and well thought through. Our room was as big as a suite and had all modern conveniences including a terrace and quiet electrical shutters. The restaurant had a great choice of food, and breakfast in the morning had also everything you could wish for. Staff was very friendly, too!

Modern flat upstairs, nice bathroom with good shower, comfortable large bed. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to be in this area and this was a great plus. There are plenty of amenities nearby and a bakery just round the corner where you could have breakfast. In addition, the flat was equipped with a kitchen, fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. There was a selection of coffees and teas on offer and some lovely chocolates and biscuits on arrival, which was a nice touch.

Lovely City in North Germany, very clean with friendly locals who love icecream and cakes!
I travelled to have dental treatment at Kleinsman Dental Centre and enjoyed the time in Bocholt very much.
Great transport links, people mostly on bycicles.
Good Cafes and Restaurants, great shops.
I would definitely recommend Konditorei-Café Voß, the home made cakes are to die for, my fab was the apple cake.
Restaurants, our favourite was Le Dayo and the Gyoza bar for Sushi and japanese food.
Not many people speak English but we found that people were very friendly.
We stay in the fabulous City Hotel.
Definitely a place to visit .

We went Bocholt in mid December just to escape the Netherlands due to covid and saw that they have a Christmas Market and is located just over the border of Germany (about a 2 hour drive from Amsterdam). Their market is small and on the main shopping street, not tucked in a square like many other Christmas markets but pleasant enough due to weird times. Our room was in a separate building (with parking right in front) as others have reported but I didn't mind the short stroll across the street. I swear we were the only people staying at HW as it was very quiet. Our room on the ground floor was VERY big for European standards with a small terrace with not much of a view but still nice to be able to step outside. Our dinner and (small private) breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to us non-German speakers and we would most definite;y stay there again. Danke schön Hotel Wintergarten!

Bocholt is a friendly picturesque town with a variety of restaurants and drinking houses. The market square is particularly attractive at night. Prices were very reasonable. The shopping area is busy and compact with plenty of small and larger well known brands. People are friendly.

Excellent attention from the hosts, they went out of their way to make us, a group of friends, feel comfortable. The apartments were clean, spacious, comfortable, and great for a weekend break with groups of friends. The area is quiet, safe and nice. Within walking distance there are supermarkets and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!
I have stayed here previously - but not for a while.. I was pleased to find that the hotel is still a great option in the area, with spacious, clean rooms & bathrooms, a good buffet breakfast (included in rate) and friendly staff - all at a very reasonable price. Location is ideal for an evening in the the city centre, or as a base for wider travel.
Breakfast was good, with the breakfast service exceptional. The Bread/roll selection was great and i personally enjoyed the hot selection. i would have liked toast, but i guess that's more of an English requirement.
i was at the Benning's factory, so the hotel was a short walk away. perfect location.
They are not open for breakfast , i had to order , i have been for breakfast there was nobody else, staff was really good but place was clean but accept rooms never cleaned or ask no fridge no coffees i never been place like this but it was a good location hotel looks good manegment to do a lot only.
I found this hotel was valuable because the location was pretty nice . It was located in the city center, where was very easy to find bars and restaurants around, not far away from the train station. The room is clean and all self check-in , the staff left the room key on the table directly.
Average hotel - can be better, can be worse. I was not charged for the breakfast, which is good. Room was ok - 2 single beds, clean, complimentary small bottle of water, no fridge. Bus station is just 1 min away, which is convenient. There is parking, if you come by car.
great experience from the moment we arrived. Maya very welcoming and checked us in with easy. Large, very clean room. Bed very comfortable. Location of hotel easy walk to town centre and its restaurants, cafes, shops. Really enjoyed our stay.
Great value for money. Excellent breakfast included. Staff kept coming with fresh foods. Very nice staff. We will definitely book this hotel again our next trip to Bocholt.
This hotel is gorgeous, an unexpected gem in the small town of Bocholt. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and the building andsurrounding gardens are so pretty.
This was a very basic hotel but the rooms were adequate and the beds were comfortable. Rooms have a sink but the shower and toilet are at the end of the hall.
