We LOVED our stay and were so grateful we could bring our Furbabe along. There was even a bed and bowl supplied for him which was super sweet and so thoughtful!! Room was clean. Did smell if previous occupants at first but kept windows open to clear distinct smell. 2nd night stayed in same room and tried to contact to stay another night so I didn't have to move my belongings. No reply so rebooked online and had to clear my belongings into car. That night was checked into the same room.

A beautiful lodge near a lovely lake. The accomodation was exceptional. Amazing views, comfortable beds and a superbly styled dining, lounge area (with fireplace) and deck overlooking the lake. The highlight (apart from all this!) was probably the breakfast. A range of fresh fruit and cereals, yoghurt and jams with a cooked breakfast of your choice. All beautifully presented. Leigh and Mike and their gorgeous little poodle were very accomodating hosts. Only a short drive from town, we were thrilled with our choice for exploring the Rotorua area.
