Great city with amazing Art stores, very good restaurants and Cafes, great trails to mtb or hike. We were there for the mtb Cape Epic race and the quality of the trials were superb. Have 1 of the best dinners of our trip and full of wineries too and petit hotels with friendly staff..

If you enjoy wine this is a must destination! 250+ vineyards most with tasting opportunity and many with great dining! Close to Cape Town and wonderful surrounding country. To enjoy at its best a stay of 4+ nights is best.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves. The staff are wonderful.

If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. Every staff member went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and we loved everything including the spacious and well equipped room, lovely bathroom with nice Charlotte Rhys products, daily update on the weather and load-shedding as well as the treat (such a nice touch!), the friendly turn-down service, plus then a great freshly prepared breakfast on top. Can’t recommend this hotel and its team highly enough. Thank you for another superb stay!

Each collections of cottages with a pool and outdoor space which was gorgeous. So much to do as well, we wish we could have stayed longer! Great location too, we did the Frranschoek wine tram and it was a short Uber trip away and Stellenbosch town centre was a quick drive away.
