Balthazar restaurant and bar was excellent on our first night,Saturday alas on Sunday it was not.They we’re very busy for the festival and tired 💤 on Sunday.We wanted a 6pm dinner,told nothing till 7.30.We were patient and sat with beer and wine till 7.30...alas no service till 7.55....the food was poor as opposed to Sat.Left half of it...when asking for bill it took 20 mins..with a water that we didn’t get receive.Lots of staff but not very attentive.

The host was attentive and helpful; great communication through WhatsApp. The breakfast (croissant, scones, jam, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice) was appreciated. The climate control was easy and straightforward. Wifi was good as well. This accommodation really captures the essence of San Antonio de Areco!
