Staff from reception to the restaurant were fantastic! They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable esp staff at the restaurant constantly wiping tables, setting out the beach chairs / beam bags and offering drinks. Loved the beach and location of the resort as well. Rooms are a good size with everything you need including comfortable beds, set in a beautiful garden-walkway. Easy to rent motorbikes from the resort and eat / drink at resort and only pay the account on checkout. Enough restaurants, 7/11 within walking distance.

Great location just on the beach, only female dorm with a nice terrace, comfy bed - mattrass and pillow, good AC (programmed for a good night sleep), nice staff who could speak English (despite some reviews saying the contrary), SUP boards and kayak for rent.

We came for 3 nights, ended up staying 2 weeks in total because it’s a very comfortable, clean and calm place to stay. We stayed in different roomtypes depending on availability. Every room is a separate newly renovated house. All the furniture is new; comfortable mattress, handy cloth racks inside and on the balcony, a standing mirror (which is rare to find in other hotels in Thailand). One of the houses still has an old bathroom, which didn’t bother us since it was clean. Very strong internet connection in every house, since they all have their own router. The kitchen is simple, but exactly what we needed (very clean and everything new). They even provide a salt/black pepper grinder and cooking oil. Last but not least, the owner is a very helpful, friendly and hardworking person.

Built into a cliff on Haad Yao, west of Phangan Island, High Life Bungalow offers Balinese and Thai-style accommodation with steps leading down to the beach.

Super friendly staff. Our room overlooked Haad Yao beach which was great. Lounge/pool area all very nice although some umbrellas /sunshades need attention. Food nice and not overly expensive. All in all a nice stay

The location near the beach is very good , just 1 minute walking. The staff is super nice always willing to help wherever you need ! Which is very important. The owner is very helpful . He helped us to rent a car very easily without any problem, also helped us with taxis etc . We do recommend this place specifically for families with kids like us . We booked for 2 nights and finally we extended our stay here for our whole trip in the island. Thanks Tom and team!
