We liked everything from the beautifully appointed room, impressive coffee maker, coffee in the room, bedding, amazing modern bathroom AND hosts helping us with a great recommendation for dinner at Franks Oyster Bar across the street. Easy drive to the wineries too. Great hosts!

the #1 thing in accommodation is cleanliness and this place is spotless! room is very quiet and comfortable, the blackout curtains are great, the staff were good at accommodating me to stay an extra night and allowing me to have the same room by juggling others around. Will definitely return.

The property when you drive in is a little tired, however the motel is slowly being done up. We stayed in a new unit with our wee dog and honestly it was spotless and comfortable. The studio was huge and had all of what we needed. The location is perfect and a very short walk to the town and restaurants.
The lady on reception was lovely and helpful. Would we stay at Bings again? Most definitely.

Good place to transit after arriving from the ferry in Picton. Several places to eat as a good sized town. Ate in Bamboo Garden (5 minutes walk) as had been recommended to us by people on the ferry. Food was excellent.

We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February.
We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February. The city itself is not too big but cosy. There are some beautiful parks and gardens. Breathtaking mountains views. Runway cafe on the way to Blenheim airport was quite nice. Food was delicious. Most of the time we spent exploring nearby areas. A lot of good wineries around for degustation and lunch. We travelled to Picton ( 30 min by car). Had a cruise there. Plenty of cafes on the waterfront. Visited the impressive Omaka aviation heritage centre. "Muscles pot" restaurant in Havelock was nice. Would be great if we had at least one more day to visit more places in the Marlborough region.

Opted not to hire car which I would probably change when visiting again although we did manage with walking to city centre and and utilising shuttles to get out to Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. Omaka is an absolute jewell. We were here for Garden Raupara Springs so transport otherwise not an issue for us. We were close to a Countdown and Bamboo Garden Restaurant which was fabulous and we also visited a Japanese Restaurant. Had our wine tasting at the gardens so did not visit winery; we come from West Auckland also a hub of wineries so we were happy with just the tasting at the garden event. The shuttle who took us to Omaka was happy for just a pick up call and then took us to a garden centre for a quick look around. Very obliging! Of course I bought a plant and took it back to Auckland. Thanks for a lovely stay, can't recommend Blenheim enough!

Amazing good.
The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is a world-class museum showcasing WW1 and WW2 aircraft and artefacts
We combine it with a day driving in thewineries and dining at a winery.
We had a wonderful experience at this place. Every staff we encountered were delightful and eager to help!
The lady at the reception was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and she looked after us so well even after we’ve checked out. Please Chateau Marlborough give this lady awards :)
The room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfy.
We will definitely stay here when we come back!
:)
Breakfast was disappointing - it was continental style, all the ingredients were in the room to serve ourselves BUT first had to find the toaster and a place to plug it in - then find the kettle and a place to plug it in. There was only a very small table so not everything could not fit on the table. The toaster and kettle had to be plugged in across the other side of the room. It was all a bit amateur and not really fitting for such luxury accommodation.
This property on a working winery is exceptional for its high level of comfort and beautifully quiet location. The simple yet clever design incorporates vistas through multiple windows at varying levels, allowing for surprising glimpses of snow-capped mountain tops at eye height. It is both comfortable and enticing - with several seating options inside and out to catch the sun.
Location, location, location... and space! My god! Spacious room. View amazing balcony and facilities very good. Price right, but upgrade could accept reasonable higher price - easy. Just on location, space and balcony with awesome view alone. So happy would easily stay a couple or three nights just for a Blenheim/Marlborough experience again.
First the staff was the most welcoming and kind! we were made to feel right and home. they helped us with everything we needed: places to eat, laundry, a kind chat, help with our enormous bags, drive to the train station, you name it…they were on it. a simply charming and perfect place to stay in Blenheim.
It is obviously an older motel with fittings that show its age. I was surprised that it exists close to what look like much more modern and classy motels. The kitchen was hopelessly small. Taps in the kitchen and bathrooms needed new washers.
One of our best stay in South Island love the serenity , the walks and my kids just fell in love with the pigs. This property is so good for mind and soul and only 10 minutes away from vineyards so can get the best of 2 worlds.
Everything at this hotel is great.Location, rooms facilities and staff.
Had a great evening meal at the Indian restaurant near the river (ragpu) as recommended by Jude.
Directly opposite a lovely park and it’s so quiet.
Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable and the staff were amazing. We had dinner in their restaurant and everything was exceptional. Highly Recommended and the only place I would stay if going back to Blenheim.
Cheap, right in the centre of Blenheim. Social but not a party hostel. Lots of medium term travelling hostel stayers working in the vineyard.
Cleaned daily but facilities a bit run down.
it is nestled in amongst vineyards, so very private and beautiful. the cottage is equipped with everything you need. Liz even stocks the fridge with your favorite milk or creamer.
The room was VERY spacious and, even better, VERY dark. So many motels seem to have security lights which mean that you are trying to sleep in a half-lit room.
