Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive. Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. A lovely and historical town but we had a few too many days...
A lovely and historical town but we had a few too many days there. The old town is great, go off the beaten track to avoid the tourist traps and find the more interesting cafes, restaurants and shops. The modern part of the town was like anywhere in the world and the sea front is littered with gaudy monstrosities of jail like hotels. Very glad we stayed in the old town which was quirky, quiet and personal.

The night life alley is also about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, as well as a variety of restaurants. Old town is about a 10-minute nice walk away. The staff was absolutely friendly and very helpful. Corona tests were offered at the hotel. Definitely get the room with the sea view, it's worth it! Beach is right across from the hotel.
