The location should have been interesting but we never got there. I had a medical emergency in Jackson Hole. When my family and I should have been in Pinedale, I was in the hospital. I called the owner to explain the situation. She was very understanding and said she would return our payment. That never happened. She did say it was important to contact Booking.com, which I did.

I was just passing through so don't know anything about the local area but it seemed pretty nice there. Litmus test is that if I were forced to stay there due to an unexpected turn of events, I would be fine. Nice town, nice people. I only chose Pinedale because we were headed to Jackson which had higher prices for hotels and this was a good place to be close and save some money as we proceeded on with the rest of the road trip. I wish we had more time to explore because Pinedale is the kind of place you want to know what else about it is good. I was thinking to myself as I walked around a little that this place is a surprising gem.

I came here to ride my atv. Go up to green river lake. It is like being in glacer national park. Road to green lake is drivable easy for pickup. Also drive up road to and past Fremont lake, go all the way to top of hill. Great place for great views, for hikers, at, and for people that have to stay in car. I would go back again to spend more time.

We stayed two nights ~ one night going to Bozeman and one night on our drive home ~ so we stayed in two different rooms. The second room #101 has a very low, small toilet which needs to be upgraded. Otherwise everything was fine during both stays.

Pinedale is a small town on the way to Yellowstone when coming from the south. It is also the gateway to Bridger Wilderness. It has plenty of lodging and restaurants as well as a good camping/backpacking store. The Mountain Man Museum is well worth a visit.

Pinedale is a great small town.
Pinedale is a great small town. The young lady at Two Rivers Fly Shop was a huge help and hooked me up with some flies to use to go after a Snake River Cutthroat up above Bondurant. She was spot on.

Pinedale is a delightful small town in a beautiful location.
Pinedale is a delightful small town in a beautiful location. There are good restaurants, the necessary stores, and a number of good places to stay. The residents were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding country is truly extraordinary.
Fishing in the area is also extraordinary. There are many lakes, rivers and streams with abundant fish. The fly fishing is especially good. Two Rivers Fishing Company is an excellent fly fishing shop and can provide up to date and thorough information on fishing conditions, where to fish, and what flies to use. Their guide service is excellent, as well.
We we’re heading home to New Orleans from Jackson Hole and wee turned around and resorption Pinedale due to blizzard road closures. Nora truly went above and beyond in accommodating us at such a short notice, extending our stay at a discount and introducing us to the finest of Pinedale. We had the best time. Her dining recommendation were amazing and the people we met were awesome. We took her advice and went on the most beautiful hikes we have ever done. This detour has been a huge Godwink and we hope to come stay at the Cozy Cabins again.
really a very good surprise. Did not expect this level of quality in Pinedale. We had chosen the village because we were driving up from Moab to Yellowstone. But we were floored by the really incredible experience. Really nice cabin, spacious and clean, comfortable. A deck that faced the lake, with adirondack chairs. Nice views. Good comfortable bed. The restaurant was pretty good too - nice selection of food, well prepared. The motto of Pinedale is "all the civilization you need" and we got more than we needed.
What awesome cabins, situated in the mountains overlooking the beautiful lake with covered porches to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee or sunset with a glass of wine. With 2 beautiful National Parks 90 miles away as well as shopping in Pinedale and Jackson Hole, the Lodge is a perfect location. Lots of amenities at the lodge, too with kayaks available for rental, horseback riding and an awesome restaurant and bar!
The staff was fantastic! The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean.

Loved this motel. We stopped over on our way to Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was by far the best room on our month long trip to the US. Really comfy beds, good shower, lots of space, all the right ingredients yet simple and a good price. Great recommendations to eat out in the evening. Really liked Pinedale. Would love to go back.
Very nice, spacy, modern rooms in a convenient location. The hosts are avid hikers themselves and are a wealth of information on hiking in the area. If you are a hiker, thru hiker or thru biker this is the place to stay in when in Pinedale, Wyoming to visit the greater Bridger-Teton Wilderness.
We love the location, the amazing Lake Fremont, the small town of Pinedale, and the people of Wyoming. The staff at Lakeside Lodge were so accommodating and friendly. Conner was so helpful and accessible.
We had s’mores in the fire pit, rode bikes, and kayaked as well.
Located on Pine St. which is the main road in Pinedale so it is easy to find. Friendly staff, who game me a good recommendation on a nearby restaurant. Rooms are quaint, nothing fancy hear. Decorative LED lighting in the rooms that fit with the architecture.
Beautiful location and lodges! Everything in the lodge is super comfortable and luxury. It's like 5-10 drive from Pinedale center. We enjoyed the seats at the lake and the calmness of the area. Easy late check in by key box, perfect.
After a seven-day packing trip in the Winds, this place was a nice respite! And it is pet-friendly too. Close to shops and restaurants. Pinedale is a fantastic underrated town. We will definitely be back!
The accomodation was as decribed and ideal for a one night stop on a road trip from Denver to Yellowstone. The town of Pinedale was really nice to walk around, being quiet and picturesque.
The owners of this hotel are easy to communicate with, and they treat their customers well. The room was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed.
