The staff at reception was friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very large with a comfortable sitting area and a tv with Chromecast. The bed was also large and comfortable. The bathroom was very adequate, not too big but with enough room. The hotel is well situated along one of the main roads and a short drive away from downtown and many different restaurants. Despite its location the street noise was minimal.

Everything was great except the fire alarm going off at 0100 in the morning which was not in their control. It was a false alarm. But, we all evacuated out of the building just to be safe.

It would have been appreciated if we were told that the hotel is in a high crime area with many homeless people in the surrounding area. After our luggage was stolen and we looked around the area by ourselves we found the adjacent property was frequented by homeless people and one very nice local business owner (that assisted us in our search) said the crime in the area was high and there has been many homeless people wandering around the area.
The desk clerk was not helpful at all and was asked several times about video footage which she said there was none and when told we saw cameras in the area she then said maintenance has footage but we don't.

The hotel was terrible, service was terrible, they advertise a breakfast but didnt have it and according to other reviews, havent had it for a long time. a blatant lie. Unbelievable. Had to ask over and over agsin for 1 and a half hours to get a blanket fot the bed. The tub was dirty. There was nothing but conditioner in the bathroom. No shampoo. No lotion. Staff almost non existent

If your a local the owner doesn't want your business.
If your a local the owner doesn't want your business.
Have reported the behavior of singling out high deposits for room that was prepaid to only NM Attorney General.
Staff is paid by owner, so they did their best to serve under the owners wishes to not have locals stay in the facility.Owner management may be doing illegal credit card charges to cover deposits that your company provides to a fully booked &paid for room. My room cost billed was $340.00 for a $109.00 room without taxes.
? WouldIhave been rejected from a paid for resevered room if my credit card had been used for other trip expenses and didn't have the extra creditablity for this local only deposit cap?

Las Cruces NM is an amazing place.
Las Cruces NM is an amazing place. It's actually in southern parts of the state, which means it's more tropical and has more palm trees everywhere. You don't see that in upstate NM. Love the palm trees everywhere.

The pool was empty. It was a major reason for booking.
The pool was empty. It was a major reason for booking. One of the beds had urine on it. Call them at ten forty five, did not get into a new room until twelve thirty five. Was traveling with a five and a seven year old, and it was horrible having to wait that long. Would never recommend this place.

This property is awful. Not up to La Quinta fine standards.
This property is awful. Not up to La Quinta fine standards. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and stressed about the property and the issues we faced. Corporate needs to know about this property and it’s poor condition
The motel was fine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were restaurants, convenience stores and a large Walmart within walking distance of ~ 1 mile.
Las Cruces\Mesilla, White Sands\Trinity Site, El Paso\Juarez, and Hatch NM(the chile capital of the world) are within easy driving distance on well paved roads with minimal gridlock.
In fact, this would be a great place to do day or overnight trips to all over New Mexico and the West Texas or Northern Mexico area.
The host was exemplary, offering assistance with car and available to troubleshoot. It was easy to contact hosts for help. The house was spacious and secure. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.
The patio was lovely in the sun. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, kitchen tools, glasses, and mugs. The garage was a perfect entry and exit. The TV worked well for streaming and the couch was comfortable. Bedroom lamps were great with usb ports.
Good hot breakfast, more than adequate. This is a 50+-year-old Hotel, that's been constantly improved for the traveler who wants to spend more than a night or two. Love the pool surrounded by all the shrubbery in the middle of the desert. Management is just SUPER, and very friendly and helpful. Even though an old hotel, it'll be our choice next time we come north through Las Cruces, as it very handily "gets the job done" for a traveler.
First we needed a pet friendly hotel. So this answered that need. Excellent hotel. Bed and pillow so nice!!
Most important the front desk person was awesome!! I think her name is Kayah??
She had to deal with a couple of grumpy people and we could tell she handled it well.
The room was great. Breakfast just ok!
Would recommend and would stay again.

Las Cruces is not a city full of high-end hotels. The Drury offered several high-end features at mid-level prices. We did not expect the free evening cocktails and light dinner, but enjoyed the drinks nonetheless. (We chose to eat at the Hacienda in nearby Mesilla.) Attractive public spaces make the Drury stand out from many other chains.
Location is so calm and peaceful , it provides easy access to various city stores.Guest are greeted very friendly into the inviting atmosphere of the motel and they are ready to assist for any inquiry or request.Rooms are spacious and clean.I would like to stay again for comfort and convenience .
A unique hotel with nice, comfortable rooms. The hotel interior is in the old-style design. A rare experience. My room was quiet and clean. You can sleep very well in these enormous beds with good mattresses. There is a restaurant at the hotel; however, it is not open during lunch hours.
It was so nice to arrive at a clean hotel, a smoke-smell free room and comfortable surroundings. I would definitely recommend this place when stopping in Las Cruces. They serve continental breakfast to boot. Very courteous and professional staff. Loved it!
The whole experience exceeded my expectation. It was very secure, clean and artistically appointed room and bathroom. Manfred was an excellent and knowledgeable host. He was very helpful guide to the town. The location in the town was stunning.
Charming and unique! Really enjoyed the art and the artsiness of the whole place. Our room was large and comfortable, French toast breakfast delicious, and host Lydia warm, welcoming and helpful. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Las Cruces.
There was no breakfast even though it was in the ad. There was no coffee maker in my room but I was told there was when I checked in. The heat did not work in the room but a SMALL heater was placed on the desk in the room.
This Hampton in Las Cruces is much better than the one in Phoenix. The facility is newer and the room is bright. Even during COVID , it still offers some warm food in the morning. The only complaint is the AC sounds loud.
