Loved the style and ambience - maintained despite refurbishment taking place of the fourth floor. Lounge area is superb with excellent complimentary coffee. Room was very comfortable and well equipped. We could also walk to many city sites of interest. Parking was right alongside and a path dug out in the heavy snow. Excellent breakfast place just across the street - ‘Egg-Cetera’.

This was an excellent hotel! We had a queen suite with sofa bed and it had plenty of room for our family. It also had a fridge and microwave as well as 2 tv's. The room was very clean. One of the best things was that they had gluten free bagels as part of the delicious breakfast.

While I was in Wichita there were many great places I stopped by to see. The Wichita Art Museum was absolutely fantastic and The Keeper of the Plains Statue on the river was super cool! I also stopped by the Wichita State Baseball field and The Original Pizza Hut Museum with was pretty cool. Finally, if you are looking for an arcade or something fun to go to at night, I would highly recommend The Arcade! It was only $12 for unlimited play and they have tons of 80s and 90s arcade games!

Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants.
Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We ate at the Salt Grass Steak house. Great food and close to the hotel. Would recommend both. Getting around Wichita was good. Majority of the road work was done on 96 since our last visit.

When we arrived the front door did not stand out and the place looked in disrepair. I asked the front desk lady if there was anyway I could cancel my room and she said not without losing my $169. Yes, they say the rooms are 119 but after all the hidden fees it was $50 more then the advertised price. Also, they charge $100 to your debit card just in case you tear up the room. I have yet to see this money returned to my card. The place was dirty and run down and location is horrible as it's on the opposite side of town where restaurants and entertainment was. Very disappointed as this was a room that should have been maybe $69. However, it was for our anniversary so we wanted a little bit of luxury, but this place didn't have anything but the basics which were run down. The bed sheets didn't even fit the bed so we kept adjusting them. The TV is confusing if you are not a COX customer and use it at your home. We just wanted to scroll through the channels and that took a while to figure out. Also, both remotes needed new batteries so we were going to call the front desk and the room didn't have any phones. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel.

I grew up in Wichita and was back visiting for the holidays. It’s probably not a go to place for vacation unless visiting family or friends but has everything anyone would want for shopping and dining.

Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town.
Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town. Larger than expected. Crime seemed to be high. During our one night visit, our rental car was used to visit a nearby restaurant. On the way home, rammed by another car which fled the scene. Taken by ambulance to a filthy downtown hospital for treatment. The hospital seemed to specialize in turning away patients. Ah, no, I won’t be returning to this city.
That's the problemthey didn't serve breakfast anymore. And nobody told us that I've stayed here a few times and I really enjoyed everything about the hotelbut then they stopped for a bit because they were reconstructing the breakfast room. Just to find out they don't serve breakfast anymore. Which makes no sense to me. But that's why I'm not giving it all ratings like I usually do. Very, very disappointing the big area that they had upstairs and they can't even Serve Waffles
The property is in the historic district in an old building that has been renovated into a lovely, comfortable hotel. HUGE room, high ceilings, kitchenette (which we didn’t need), and a super comfortable bed and all at a remarkable price. Located near restaurants with plenty of free parking. Old Town Wichita is charming and this hotel is the perfect place to stay when you visit (and you should visit!)

Clean and affordable. Pool area was clean. They have a hot tub but it’s not in use. Jumped their prices the next day, for some basketball tournament. Rooms went from $65 a night to $180. On their defense, they weren’t the only Hotel to do that, ALL hotels in Wichita did. No breakfast, due to the Covid pandemic.
The recipients was extra nice greeted us and said if we needed anything to please let her know asked if our room was okay she should be recognized for her great job she does. You don’t see enough employees that are ver nice and caring anymore
Lots to like. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and bar is open late. Nice location on the river. Room was well appointed and clean. Self parking is easy and not too expensive. Starbucks location inside the hotel is open early.
Room was fine when got there 930pm. Air stopped working. Asked to look.at. no problem. Ended up moving that night when returned. They were quick to help. Other room was very cool.for remaining 2 nights.
The hotel is pretty new. We stayed one weekday night and wasn’t busy at all there was plenty of parking spaces. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Rooms was clean and AC worked great.
Everything was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The front desk brought extra towels to our room; which very much appreciated.
Great hotel at a great price.
We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and quiet. All staff members went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. We will definitely stay here again.
