Although it is a little bit farther than the activities we want to do, the location is right near the airport and the rooms are really spacious and clean. That makes the little extra driving worthwhile to us. The restaurants are very good. We ate only one meal there--dinner in the Diamond Cafe--and it was excellent as was the service. The wait staff are all very pleasant and nice. The room coffee is also good.

If I get treated right, I will have a positive opinion. If I dont get my 100 cash back, that is another story then isn't it? Did you disclose the $100 cash deposit on your site? Did they let me leave knowing they still had my deposit? Probably so, huh?

Beautiful country.
Beautiful country. I enjoyed riding thru the mountains and desert on horses and side by sides! Hiking is also great. I took a hot air balloon ride over mountains and desert country and it was awesome! It was easy to drive around in this big city because the people are courteous. I visited a camera shop and needed them to ship something and they couldn't do it. But one of their customers said they could do it. So helped me out greatly! This town has great places to eat - I stayed at a Ramada with Guadalajara Mexican Grill beside it and the food was exceptional there. They even make your salsa right in front of you. The stay was great- just too short!

Tucson is a large city in southeast AZ.
Tucson is a large city in southeast AZ. There are many attractions in and around the city. We particularly liked the many hiking trails, the 2 Botanical Gardens, and the Desert Museum. Wonderful weather for hiking and birding! You need to have a car to get to the attractions.

Tuscon is beautiful with lots of fun stuff to do and see.
Tuscon is beautiful with lots of fun stuff to do and see. We were not there long enough to see and do everything we wanted. But enjoyed our stay. The hotel was great. We went to the air and space museum. It takes quite some time, but has a lot to see. Also went to a market, loved that. Really cool. They also have the largest gem show once a year, usually in February. Missed it. Want to do that. Beautiful mountains to explore. Great food too.

Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spectacular.
Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spectacular. Could have used more towels to start off with. Only provided three and we had 4 guests. Plus our dog. She liked the sausage and all the parking lot smells.
Was perfect for what I needed, a place to sleep for the night. I flew into Tucson in the evening and was able to walk from the airport to the hotel in about 10 min along a sidewalk. Check-in was quick and easy and my room had everything I needed (bed, desk, etc). The hotel was really accommodating and helped me organize a slightly late check out and let me store my bag for a bit while I went to pick up my rental car. Breakfast was fine in the morning, typical hotel continental breakfast and totally sufficient with waffles, bagels, etc.
Breakfast was excellent although not included in the base hotel price. We stayed in the older part of the resort in a room featuring 1920s Spanish architecture and furnishings which we liked a lot but maybe other guests would not. Dinner was also excellent but did require reservations.. Made use of their warm water pool even though temperatures were in the 60s and low 70s. The grounds were lovely rife with the local vegetation including the giant Surgaro cactus.
The staff was generally friendly and helpful.
El Amador has made it into my top 10 cutest places I have ever stayed. The property and room (Downtown Suite) were designed perfectly, and I appreciated all the antiques!! Everything was very clean, quiet (we never heard any other guests), and convenient (walked to many hot spots on Congress Ave and surrounding). Not sure when I’ll be back in Tucson, but I absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting!!
Breakfast is very basic but healthy items available were apples, milk, yogurt and plain original Quaker oatmeal. Hotel room was very clean. Staff very helpful.
Location is within 15 minute walk of El Con shopping mall and on the same road as Tucson Botanical Gardens a few minutes drive north. Italian Restaurant next door has a large outdoor garden dining space that includes a Bocce ball court.
The food was amazing we ended up eating breakfast at the hotel all week since it was filling and yummy. We were in such a good location to walk around downtown and see the courthouse building with the gem and mineral museum and this great coffee shop. We were able to walk to get dinner a couple of nights with ease but it didn’t sound like we were in a downtown area it was quiet and peaceful.
The house is very nice and very well equipped. It has a very nice patio where you can have dinner and a swimming pool. It is located in a quiet environment and is very close (on Tucson scale) to the University that was our target, although not at walking distance. The parking space outside the house is ample and can easily fit at least three cars.
Includes also two high saguaros!
Wonderfully soft, clean, and so comfortable beds.
Great water pressure and light blocking curtains. Nice quiet room and hotel. Restaurant open late that served great beers and burgers, with great staff. Coffee ready in the lobby at 4:00 a.m., and on demand, free shuttle to the airport. I would definitely stay here again, first choice in Tucson!
we liked the appearance of the hotel, the standard of the room, the quality of the mattress and the breakfast. One of two days we stayed there, the pool was not accessible, the second day it was: nice pool and hot tub being in the shade of the building from afternoon on - appreciated in hot sunny Tucson. Shopping Mall in walking distance
A wonderful spaceous house with the most beautifull view over Tucson. Big bedrooms, 3 out of 4 with attached bathrooms and 2 out of 4 with attached walk in closets. We could make a fire, which was lovely as it was cold for the time of the year. Big kitchen with everything that we needed and a big eating table. We truly loved it!
Location was terrific. Close to hiking at Catalina State Park. Grocery stores and restaurants were close. It is about 25 minutes to downtown Tucson and we attended the jazz festival one night. We liked the separation and peaceful Oro Valley area for lodging. Hope to be back next year.
Perfect location in downtown Tucson. Wonderful, open indoor/outdoor bar with covered patio dining option. Super friendly staff that doted on our two senior dogs. We felt covid safe without having to stress or think about being covid safe. We will be back!
Great atmosphere,…local art, local craft beer on tap, locally roasted coffee, live music, comfortable rooms with huge TV’s for streaming.
A little away from downtown in south Tucson…but close to great Mexican food spots!!
Easy to get to off the 10…
The location of this casita was lovely. Located in the higher foothill area overlooking Tucson, . It's an ideal location for a getaway. We enjoyed the facilities offered here. It's very relaxing & a secure location. The patio is glorious.
The breakfast was adequate and served by polite and helpful staff who also made sure that the area was clean. The beds were comfortable. Valerie, one of the hotel staff members, was very pleasant and helpful.
This historical motel in downtown Tucson is truly a gem.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The food is exceptional.
I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay.
The property is in a central location to U of A and downtown. I’ve stayed in Tucson many times this the first but will not be the last.
* Exceptional value
Perfect location on the north side of Tucson, easily accessible from I-10. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms with everything one needs for a good stay.
