Very private setting, amazing garden/view and a hot tub. An added touch was the lovely Christmas tree/decor set up prior to arrival and the lovely macarons too. lovely veranda to sit out on for breakfast/drinks. Lovely lounge area. I felt safe, the host was friendly but not over bearing, the room and facilities were beautiful, clean and cosy. It was great to have a desk, tv, ensuite, fridge and coffee etc. The takeaway soaps were a lovely touch too.

The journey en route from New Plymouth To Hawera passing the legendary view of Mt Taranaki. We visited the Hawera Museum and it's great experience for the kids on visiting the history of Taranaki.

Hawera is a town of 8,000 people but it seems a lot more.
Hawera is a town of 8,000 people but it seems a lot more. A rural town with a very country feel it has modern amenities and lots of different food options to choose from. You're 10mins from the beach & 15mins to the country. You have access to Maunga Taranaki and also Dawson Falls. Explore, unwind & relax in Gods Country 🙏🏽

Just a quick overnight stay.
Just a quick overnight stay. It coincided with a well put together celebration of Mat ariki but not called that, just a mid-winter celebration. It was winding down as the drums filled with wood to create warmth and ambience had not lasted the distance. The town had obviously come out for it, families and young people mostly. Stalls, food trucks live entertainment. Well done for whomever was the brains behind it. Bought dinner from the pizza place central on the high street opposite an open courtyard area that had a solitary swing hanging. Food was good but took rather a long time.

Easy to get to coast and to National Park.
Easy to get to coast and to National Park. Good sized town with a choice of churches on Sunday and restaurants during the days we were there. We ate at Rough Habits and The Burnt Place - interesting names but good international food choices

I was born in Te Hawera, and grew up with my cousins and grandparents in Dixon Ave.
It has changed since my child hood but the water tower is still there where we used to play and the park as well as the 2 shops the my grandfather ran his business from.
Te Hawera has grown

I stayed in Hawera to visit the local Tawhiti museum.
I stayed in Hawera to visit the local Tawhiti museum. Great museum that has enough attractions to spend two days there. Otherwise it is a small town that has quite a few historical sites dotted around it (pa structures). Otherwise it is unremarkable.
Perfect place to stay for two nights whilst I attended a local dog agility show. The host, Penny, was easy to communicate with and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The studio was comfortable and well-equipped, with great kitchen facilities and a lovely, modern, clean bathroom. The motel is in a great location, being only a short drive in to Hawera and, despite being on SH3, was pretty quiet.
The house was very comfortable and clean, had tasteful decor, and a well-kitted out kitchen and bathrooms. The soft bathrobes provided were an extra touch of luxury and comfort. The location was peaceful and was very handy to Hawera township. Tracey has thought of everything to make a stay at her beach house easy, comfortable and enjoyable. We would love to come back.
My friend and I were travelling to visit gardens at the taranaki garden festival and hadn't stayed in hawera before. We both found the kiwi court motel very clean and comfortable, good beds, quiet and nicely appointed and value for money. Very happy with our choice!
A stunning and modern home which is very well appointed. Had everything we needed and in an excellent location in Hawera. The hosts were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure everything was just perfect which it was. Highly recommended and thank you.
Motel is modern, on main highway, on northern outskirts of Hawera. Unit was very spacious- with large lounge, 2 queen sized bedrooms, single bathroom and toilet and spa bath.
Excellent value-for-money.
Great location but nice and quiet.
Rooms were impeccably clean, and functional - great outdoor area for little ones too.
If we visit Hawera again, we will stay again.
The place is close to Hawera Town and you can have your privacy if you are remote working. Staff is very great and you can never feel lonely 🙁 Internet so good
Beautifully kept house and gardens, lovely to sit and eat breakfast on the decks in the morning looking at the rose beds , tranquil yet close to Hawera
