Excellent hotel, we loved everything!
The hotel is situated near old town. The spa is very nice with a large swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and finish sauna; a large terrace to relax with a very nice view to the sea and the old town.
The breakfast is very good, a lot of choice !
The personnel is very kind and helpful.

Perfect location in Hvar, just a few steps from the ferry and on the quieter edge of town. The rooms look onto a small beach and a monastery. The rooms (although on the small side) are nicely decorated and beds comfy and all have a sea view. The included breakfast was very good.
Riva Marina boasts sea-front setting in the city center of Hvar. Huests can enjoy mega-yacht watching from its terraces. All of the air-conditioned rooms at Riva Hotel have individual themes.

Lovely hotel, pool area is gorgeous and brilliant breakfasts in the morning! The location was brilliant, I’ve been to Hvar a few times but my first time staying here and would stay here from now on! Very nice mix of family and friends here as well. There are a few ways to access this hotel and can access by car from the harbour or a lovely walk but is very hilly

Hvar is the largest city on the Croatian island of the same name within the Adriatic Sea. The wildly undulating coastline formed a natural harbour here, a fact which didn’t go unnoticed by the Venetians, who captured it as part of their empire. The Venetian Fortress sits atop a hill and 13th-century ramparts descend to the old town.
Another castle from Napoleonic times is on a different hill offering beautiful views over red roofs towards the offshore Pakleni islands sheltering the port. Ferries link Hvar to neighbouring Brač and Vis islands, Split and Ancona in Italy.
Given the size of the city, the amount of Hvar accommodation is staggering, and Booking.com offers everything from luxury hotels with pools to cheap guest houses and beachfront apartments. Although most beaches are rocky, their scenic setting and warm turquoise waters are still a draw.
At the heart of the city is the largest square in Dalmatia. Restaurants and bars spill out onto its cobbles, ending at St Stephen’s Cathedral with its see-through belltower. Around the same time the cathedral was going up, one of Europe’s oldest theatres was constructed in the waterfront Arsenal. The Loggia is the only remain of the Governor’s Palace, and the Hvar Heritage Museum helps to put all this in context.
Hvar was amazing. The island and views were beautiful.

Beautiful old town.
Beautiful old town. Spectacular view of many surrounded island from the Napoleon trail. The city provided plenty of seating benches throughout the city and rural. I visited other towns in this island that have the same relaxing standards. Thanks to the Croatia government.
However, October was not a good month to get access to island tours and most restaurants. I was told that April to September is when the businesses open fully.

I only went to the old town, arriving by ferry in the evening. Absolutely beautiful but even in October it was way, way over touristed. I decided to stop contributing to the problem myself by changing my plans and leaving early the next morning.

Hvar is incredibly charming and I wish we could have stayed a few more days. It's a high energy environment with young and older tourists alike, gorgeous historic spots like the Fort and really great shopping (dresses, jewelry, pretty handbags on trend all reasonably priced from a Boston perspective).

Hvar is for you if you love being near the water and sitting in the sunshine. Things i wish I’d taken, more cash, many places operate on a cash only basis and they cash machines charge up to €10 to withdraw from. The cheapest bakeries which are also delicious are near the bus station. Bring insect repellent and insect bite treatments and also bring your own sunscreen as it is incredibly expensive to purchase it on the island.
Take shoes you can comfortably walk up and down stairs in and on cobbled streets.
Best places to east for me were Kantun, Coffee snob, sweet treats bakery and Fig Hvar.

Hvar has the most beautiful water I have ever seen, if you take a trip with a taxi boat to one of the smaller island, you'll have a wonderful time. There's a nude beach where fortunately not a lot of people go to cause they're scared of nakedness.
Its super party touristy in the main town. Rich british boys and old white men.. everything is super expensive. There's no buses driving around the island so you'll have to rent a scooter or walk a long distance.
This hotel is all about the location and the great staff and outdoor space. The new pool and outside seating / loungers were a great bonus. Breakfast on the terrace next to the boats was magical. The room was smallish .. though probably felt smaller because our previous hotel room was huge but the view made up for it entirely . We could hear the music from the concerts until the early hours but I think that comes with the territory in Hvar town centre. The black out blinds and double glazing helped a good nights sleep regardless.
Very nice guy runs the place. He let us leave our bags there and check in early. Its a relaxed comfortable room and bathroom. The best thing is you step out of the door and you are in the middle of beautiful Hvar. It took about 5 minutes to go to the ferry port. If you are on foot this place is great. Other places were up a steep hill. Photo is the street outside the hotel. There is a great coffee shop at the end of it. It has fresh fruit and a good bakery selection.
Perfect location. so beautiful and relaxing. A relaxed 20 minute walk into Hvar Town. We stayed in the main hotel and the views were breathtaking. The room was lovely and it was beyond our expectations. The staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful and genuine. Private beach area is great (not sandy) with plenty of beds. The beach bar is superb and the spa pool is small but lovely and relaxing. So glad we stayed here but wish it could have been longer.
FANTASTIC! Location, location, location.
We were in Hvar for the first time and it couldn't be better. From the first moment when we met a host who waited for us in the harbor and after a 2 min walk we’re inside of the museum!! This is a unique breathtaking place, not just a simple accommodation. Our apartment was on the second floor, a real small flat with anything you need to stay longer, modern kitchen, nice sofa.. but balcony was the best.
Wow Linda was the best host with great recommendations on where to go on the island! Greeted me with a beer and a few maps to show me what sites to visit and where to eat at. Dropping her name gets you discounts at places since she's so well known. The pictures of the apartment didn't fully convey the beauty of the actual apartment - especially the balcony - that view is ridiculous! I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in Hvar!
What luck we had to stumble on Seafront Rooms for our last minute detour by Hvar. Outside of dock front hotels, this has got to be the closest place to the ferry dock, yet just around the bend so you don’t have that boat traffic in your face. With access to a small, quaint terrasse overlooking the sea, you’re gonna want to buy stuff for the apéro at nearby delicacies shop and enjoy it on your « private » terrasse. Nada was a super host.
Amazing staff, comfortable rooms, amazing food. Included breakfast was a nice buffet with a good selection and free unlimited coffees. Staff will drive you to Hvar town (5-10) mins for 70 kuna (~9 euros) which was 1/3 of the fare to get to the hotel from Hvar. The location is also amazing - close to several (varying beaches). You can also get free chairs for the beach or paddle boards/ kayaks and free towels to take to the beach
The location, the facilities and the owner. We were traveling with 2 boys and the location right next to the Amfora, was amazing for us. Swimming beach right out front, cliff jumps 10 minutes walk away, access to Hvar center (10 minute walk), it was perfect for us. Owner was very friendly and we used the kitchens to cook meals to eat on the balcony. Thank you for our stay!
The Hotel, convenient, easy, walk down to the coast line and a 10-15 minute walk down to the main eating area in Hvar. We got off the ferry and took a taxi to the location. It was fairly easy to find. We also took a taxi back to the ferry with our luggage. Other than that we walked along the boardwalk on the coast down to beaches and dad to dinner.
I really fun and cooking the hotel. Really clean and great facilities as well as fantastic proximity to old town Hvar.
Really great pool area and the included breakfast had a wide variety of really good choices.
Also, an amazing couple of coffee machines that made 10 different kinds of coffee with a push of a button. It was really a great hotel!
The property has a great location near Hvar Town,
10 minutes walk maximum. It is near to the Beach Club
Hvar and the harbor. Hotel was clean and well
equipped. I loved the sea view, perfect pools and
easy access to the sea. Staff was very friendly and
they have dry cleaning service as well.
Nice modern hotel, excellent value for money with breakfast included which had lots of variety. Would recommend the pool view rooms. Prices for food and drink are reasonable compared to Hvar town. Staff very friendly and accommodating, we even booked to stay an extra night.
This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at across all our travels. The friendliness of the staff, the amenities and services, the location, the rooms - everything was exceptional. It was truly the highlight of our trip and we wish we could have stayed longer!
Very charming hotel in a wonderful location over looking the gorgeous city of Hvar snd the Adriatic Sea. Nice restaurants near by and lively streets with live music. Main square and attractions all within walking distance while enjoying the amazing Hvar picturesque city.
The hotel is in one of the most convenient spots in Hvar. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was included in the room which is quite helpful so we didn't have to search around for a place to eat.
Suitcases are collected at the harbour when you get off the ferry so you don't need to take them. Very nice hotel with beautiful views. Beautiful swimming pool with pool bar.
