Location is superb for a stay in Oia. You’re very close to the hustle and bustle of the main part of the town, but also have privacy with your room. We stayed in the Kimolos suite and it was brilliant, plenty of space indoors and out, lovely hot tub and a stellar view of the Caldera. Additionally we had the sun on our balcony area until 6:30-7:00pm, which in May which was ideal.
The staff were incredibly helpful too. They had great suggestions for restaurants (and where to avoid), were super responsive on WhatsApp, and helped in arranging our transfers throughout the week to Santo Wines and our Catamaran Tour.

Such a stunning view! I'll definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends. It's a wonderful place for a holiday, rich with historical significance. One of the best hotels I stayed on my life, great heated pool, great design, great people.
We had problem with ferry and it get cancelled and we asked for late checkout, which was acceptable, they tried really to help to have a solution.
They also recommend good restaurants and good activities around the area.
The only thing that can be better is the welcoming, it should be a drink or fruits like other hotels, also the breakfast wasn't that big, but those aren't important.

Great location, beautiful sights.
Great location, beautiful sights. Be prepared to walk and use the stairs a lot. Can cover it all in 2-3 days, so can make it a long weekend. Once tourist season starts, it'll get very crowded though - so May or September/Oct ideal.

We traveled to Oia in the end of April, which is just the beginning of their high season. The weather was cool, a bit breezy, and always nice and warm in the afternoons. The traffic was slowed at times because the streets are narrow, and there is not a lot of parking. Because of the steep cliff side dwellings, there was a lot of walking up/down steps which were uneven. Someone with physical difficulty would not easily navigate the steps. All the shop and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from anywhere in Oia is magnificent. Oia is a place on earth that is a “must see,” and now we can cross it off our bucket list.

Oia is a uniquely beautiful place.
Oia is a uniquely beautiful place. The views in all directions are stunning, particularly at sunset but any time really. The overall impression of white and blue buildings is magical. The local people were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay in Oia.

Our decision to disembark at Oia Santorini was extempore at the end of our 7 day Greek Island cruise. It was mid March and just perfect in terms of weather and crowd. I went out for morning walks and I had the entire strip for myself. The weather was in 60s and 70s. No rain except for the last day. It was interesting to see the whole town getting ready for Spring and Summer. They were white washing walls and getting their commercial spaces ready.
Very few places have impressed me with the esthetic beauty like this. The nature and the man-made structures compete for the attention and they co-exist. The beauty is stunning and it takes 48 hours to stop taking photographs everywhere you go.
We stayed in Oia for six days. It was a long 3 days weekend and for Ash Monday. Only on one of these 6 days, we saw some crowds at the Sunset point and it wasn't pleasant. Many restaurants were open. Restaurants on the main strip are expensive for eating out every day. You can explore the off beaten paths to find hidden gems that that charge you non-tourist rates.. You can also shop at the local grocery store and eat selectively at restaurants.
If you don't like crowds and waiting in the lines, I highly recommend visiting in March and November. I heard stories from locals that the Summer has been very crowded in the past few years. The cruise ships have made the matters worse.
Here are some recommendations.
Restaurants: Candouni - Must try for dining,
Cafe popular with locals. Piatsa Souvlaki. Excellent food.
Skiza cafe.- Pizza, Sandwiches, Ice cream.
Morning coffee and snacks. : Passaris bakery

Because we went slightly off season, the beginning of October, we enjoyed less tourists. I cannot imagine July/August heat and crowds. We did a sunset catamaran cruise, really recommend that, for a once in a lifetime day trip. Lots of great restaurants around and lots of scams so be careful. Cabs are expensive, so ask up front. Buses take forever and minibuses drop you off any old where......If you book a lovely hotel with transportation included you'll be fine. Ammoudi beach is a great sunset spot with yummy food......
I recently stayed at Fanari Villas with my family and we had the most wonderful stay! The hotel is incredibly beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. Our suite was clean, cool, and very comfortable with incredible views of the caldera and sunsets. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic with the most beautiful view imaginable. The hotel is in a great location Oia. Thank you, Fanari Villas, for ensuring that our stay in Santorini was unforgettable!
Hotel in the main centre of Oia with 3 entrances (all of them leading you to the most important city spots). Houses which are included in the complex are very traditional and give a real greek feeling. Swimming pool with an amazing view. Breakfast with a lot of options, also greek specialities. Sunset terrace allowed us to enjoy sun going down without all the crowds in the most popular sunset spots. I would definitely come back and will recommend this hotel to my friends planning trip to Santorini.
Sergio is running a wonderful family hotel. Ideally located close to Oia, it's at a maximum of 30 min drive from any point in the island. The room was wonderful, hotel very quiet. Breakfast with the constant view on the sea and nice surroundings. Swimming pool extremely relaxing. In short I strongly recommend it !
PS : mandatory to have a vehicle on Santorini to enjoy everything. Easy to request Sergio and to arrange different departure/arrival point like port + airport.
The hotel room was clean and very stylish. The pool was absolutely beautiful and the grounds were well maintained. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and freshly made to order. We also had dinner one night at the onsite restaurant and everything was so delicious. Their baklava and ice cream was the best I had on Santorini! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again if I were to visit Oia.
The best location in Santorini to watch the sunset. The staff went above and beyond. From picking us up
From airport and transferring to the hotel, booking our ferries and helping with reservations to restaurants etc.. The owner Dimitri is so professional, friendly and welcoming. We had an incredible time in Santorini and it a lot to do with the outstanding treatment we received from Dimitri. Speaks perfect English which was very helpful.
This is the absolute best place to stay in Santorini! All tourists travel to this specific part of Oia to see the amazing views that are right on your hotel suite's doorstep. The room is massive and has a pretty decent amount of privacy and an indoor jacuzzi. Excellent and worth the money as every single amenity is a walking distance from the hotel. No need to rent a car, just stay around Oia and enjoy the sun and views!
Everyone should book this hotel ! The location is a 10, very near from Oia’s main street, the view from the villas is beautiful and it feels very calm away from oia’s madness. Yiannis is the best host ever, he helped us organise everything and was available all the time to make everything perfect. He became a real friend. If we ever go back to santorini we’re definitely coming back to Aplada!
The owner Maria was super super helpful and nice. She recommended us stuff to do while in Santorini and was always smiling and friendly. The rooms were big and had a beautiful view of the sunset. The hotel was about a 7minute walk way from the walking road in Oia. Everything was clean and the buffet breakfast was good. There is a pool which is a nice refreshment in the evenings and mornings.
A fabulous hotel in a great location close to restaurants and local transport links. About a 5 minute walk to the castle where you can see the legendary sunset.
A lot of steps in Santorini and the walk down to the hotel is no exception. It is built on the side of a cliff, like most of the hotels in Oia. But the views of the caldera are completely worth it!!
Completely recommend it.
amazing staff and amenities. We were immediately upgraded to a private suite with a private infinity pool. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was excellent
The staff is always looking to help and please it’s clients. The hotel is one of a few that offers an elevator. The location is superb, literally a few steps away from all the shops and taverns/restaurants of Oia.
The best part of my trip was one of the staff her name is Jola she had excellent customer service. She went above and beyond for my husband and I to ensure that our stay was wonderful. My husband and I are so pleased by the measures that she went for us. Anytime we are In Santorini I’ll will stay in the hotel and not just that but request Jola to assist us through out our stay.
Accommodation offers two swimming pools with magnificent views on both sides of the Santorini island. It is only a few minutes' walk to the center of the picturesque village of Oia. There are several local restaurants, shops and a bus stop right next to the hotel. The room in a typical local design provided everything necessary for our stay. The landlady was very helpful.
We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Armenaki at the Armenaki Residence with Infinity pool. We booked this for our Honeymoon and were far from disappointed. The room had breathtaking views and the interior was all that one would expect a Santorini cave room to be. The staff members were helpful and hospitable as well. We would surely be booking again.
Great location, quite but next to the main street. Great sunset view in a private front yard. Large two-bedrooms apartment. Super friendly owner met you at the shuttle and a porter carried luggages to your room, vary convenient and easy. Price is very reasonable in super expensive Santorini and this hotel offers an unbeatable value.
Santorini is a particular island. Not my favorite at all. Getting to the units wasn't a pleasant task but you can say the same to 95% of all the hotels in Oia.
OIA Memories staff was excellent, the room was ample and clean and prices were fair. The view from that side of the island is great.
This is the second time I’ve stayed at the hotel. This time I took my parents and they loved it as much as I and my husband do. This is the perfect location to explore Oia and all of Santorini. You are in the middle of everything yet the courtyard/pool area are very private.
Obviously its a worldclass hotel, at one of the best locations in Oia Santorini with great views and sunsets. Excellent breakfast, adults only with privacy. The design of the rooms are something between Cycladic and Abstract design, something really unique. Highly recomended.
This place is just outstanding!
Is located in the most beautiful location in Oia with a beautiful sea view.
The personnel is super friendly and very helpful.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to spend a romantic time in Santorini
We really loved the room and bathroom. Very modern, spacious & clean, and was exactly what I pictured for a hotel in Santorini. We loved the breakfast and having our own terrace with a plunge pool to enjoy.
Very cozy, clean and comfortable room in Oia, a very quiet and private unit overseeing the caldera. Close to sunset viewing spot and other major major attractions in Santorini. Enjoyed our stay.
