People are very friendly even toward themselves not jut toward tourists. Food is excellent. From local to international cuisine it was just delicious. Need to go to La Casona restaurant located in Giron a nearby town and have the best Cabrito (baked goat ribs in clay and wood oven). Nothing much to see in the city, some churches and parks. Most neighbourhoods are dangerous to walk around when it gets dark, some are dangerous even daytime. But its interesting to see these kind of places as well(always use a vehicle and close windows when you stop). Not far from Bucaramanga there are some beautiful places like Chicamocha canyon, Barichara(small town). But you need to drive 2-3 hours.

There are many places to visit on the city surroundings. My favorites: Parque Cerro del Santísimo, and if you can, "La Mesa de los Santos" and try to get a glamping reservation there. The place is outstanding.hernanChile

An issue with the availability of an in-room safe was dealt with swift and professional, just like the attitude of the entire staff was swift and professional during our entire stay. It took some time to reveal the mystery of the hot showers,but their presence was much appreciated and enjoyed.
