Loved the quirkyness of the old town and all the cobble streets. Lots of places to stop for drinks & tapas and lots of nice bakeries too. Thought food & drink all reasonably priced.
Expected the Marina and promenade area to be more sophisticated and ambient than it was, but did see some amazing yachts!
The cathedral is amazing to see.

Bustling city but away from the majority of the hen/stag party groups. Plenty of historical and cultural places to visit. Maybe not somewhere that younger children would find interesting. Wide selection of bars and restaurants. Plenty of up-market shops if that's your thing. Cathedral and Royal Palace well worth visiting. The Arab Baths is also a little corner of tranquillity. Easy place to get round on foot to the major attractions. Soller train makes for a picturesque change to the city - but either book ahead or get to the station at opening to buy tickets

The beaches, the sea, the food and the people are on top.
The beaches, the sea, the food and the people are on top. The Cathedral and the main square around it are impressive, rich and elegant. Some other central streets are similar to la Rambla in Barcelona. Except for these main sites, the city of Palma surprised me with many shabby buildings. But overall it's a great location for the holiday in May or perhaps in autumn when it's not yet so hot.

Palma is a small city, although its on a Holiday Island Palma itself is a healthy mix of locals and tourists. The shops restaurants and bars are as you would find in London or Paris. It's very close to the port so you have a great mix of city life by the sea. Like most European Cities it comes alive from Thursday evening - the weekend is lively.

Lots of road works along the waterfront.
Lots of road works along the waterfront. Highly recommend the train trip to Soller and pot of Soller.
I would say the best visit was our day trip to Valdermosser, neither were expensive quite reasonably priced excellent days out
Unfortunately our trip collided with the King's visit a boat fair and a political rally so there was some road closures and restricted visiting around the cathedera but I'd do it all again

Without a doubt the best hotel experience I had ever had. The hotel itself is exquisite, with luxury details and decor, and very clean. The reception and restaurant staff go the extra mile at every opportunity and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. The housekeeping works silently and unnoticed yet they do an impeccable job! The rooftop bar was also a treat before heading into town which is only steps away. It will be nearly impossible for me to return to Palma without staying at El Llorenc! Thank you!!!
Beautiful hotel, really nice, clean and stylish. Good service. Walking distance from the old city and city center of Palma. Rooms recently renovated nice, cozy, clean and really calm - no noise from the street. Amazing breakfast and breakfast area giving to the terrace with the view on the bay. I recommend. You can also take your breakfast over there or a drink at night – amazing view on the bay and see. Perfect hotel to stay during your business trip, but also if you come to visit Palma de Mallorca.
This place is just extraordinary. The staff makes you feel so welcome and they are beyond with helping you with everything you may need. The story of this place and how they renovated it is just mesmerizing. You can feel the atmosphere of monastery and it really seems so soothing. It is an oasis of peace right in the city center among the best restaurants. I can't even tell what was better - the place or the approach of its staff. Thank you for an amazing experience.
We were in Mallorca for our honeymoon and were at Nou Baleares only one night unfortunately, but we were very touched by all the thoughtful attentions they did in our room for this special occasion.
I also found the hotel surprisingly beautiful, I don’t think the pictures do it justice.
Location is pretty good but it’s slightly outside of the old town. Still very walkable to most of the places we wanted to go!
it's a great location - just in center of all touristic attractions and restaurants streets, with some great restaurants just in front of the hotel. From the rooftop terrace you also can enjoy an amazing veiw of the city. One of the best things about the hotel - fantastic personnel! They are super friendly and super helpful! The team went above and beyond helping us to have great time in Mallorca.
The location, relaxing atmosphere of the hotel, and wonderful staff made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. This was my 3rd stay at Isla de Mallorca & Spa and it was somehow better than the previous. Thermal circuit was a great deal and really relaxing. Breakfast at the cafe bar was inexpensive and great, really couldn't have had a better experience..it truly is an urban oasis!
Simply stunning! Brand new, chic and elegant boutique hotel, with Spanish/North African decor and vibes. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location - amazing! Loads of gorgeous restaurants v close (staff recommended some fab places). 5 minutes to walk old town and shops, 10 to catherdral/Marina. Breakfast (and restaurant food) sublime!! Will be back!
my wife and I love this hotel, the staff are so accommodating and friendly, the suites are fantastic especially the Sant Francesc suite, it’s stunning. location in palma is perfect, the food is great and the hotel is one of the best looking hotels I’ve seen. it’s inspired many parts of our home in the UK and we always like to stay there when in palma.
The location in the old town was excellent, square behind hotel had seven restaurants, the excellent lounge area to sit read and relax as we only had a room, customer service exceptional nothing to much bother, room standard great room fridge SMEG I have stayed in many hotels world wide this was the best room fridge, check it n and out easy
Great hotel with super friendly
Staff, great breakfast and the rooftop pool is the perfect cherry on the top. Also the street with the best restaurants and bars is like 5 min from the hotel so we were happy we choose to stay there instead of the old town that we were considering.
Excellent hotel, went beyond our expectations, extremely clean and comfy rooms with satellite TV, the hotel pool is super relaxing, great beds, pool and poolside food and drinks services. Location is excellent, middle of palma city, close to beaches and old town.
Well located - turn left to
Old town and right to beautiful boutiques and shops. Service was a bit slow but maybe shortage of staff . Lovely room with beautiful suite powerful shower. Staff were more than helpful. A lovely stay in a lovely hotel.
The hotel and room were amazing! Absolutely met our expectations, and the area was wonderful! I definitely recommend this hotel as your stay in Mallorca as I wish we had more time there! Wonderful staff and restaruant on the property.
Warm welcome and very helpful reception staff
Location was close to beautiful old town palma and a stunning range of cafes and restaurants right in the buzz of the city
The main attractions are accessible by foot
Hotel is spotless
We loved the history and architecture of the building. The breakfast offering was the best we've ever had in a hotel. The staff was very warm and accommodating.
