Live it up in El Arenal
Located next to Playa de Palma, the beach resort of El Arenal is a natural continuation of the fun to be had along the capital’s south-eastern coast. With sandy beaches and a promenade full of pubs, restaurants, nightclubs and hotels, it also includes an important marina and the water park Aqualand El Arenal. When you get tired of indulging yourself with sunbathing and endless entertainment, local transport can take you to Palma to admire the medieval Old Town, just 15 km away.

Nice cheap and cheerful Hotel...stayed before on several occasions ..does what it says on the Tin...nothing special, but clean tidy and helpful staff,......and wine from the bar OK for just 2 euros :)...my 2 year old grandson had no complaints :)...beach just 15 mins walk away for his little legs, but loved it.

There were plenty of places to eat and have coffee, the back streets were a bit rough looking but the promenade along the front was lovely. The food was not very cheap but not too expensive either if you chose carefully where you eat. All the staff at the coffee bars were friendly and not too pushy especially the 'Salsa' bar which had an hours free salsa dancing lessons on Saturday. It was only a 20 minute bus ride into Palma (on the express bus) and only 2 euros. The buses seemed to run quite late. Palma is a beautiful town but I'm glad we stayed out at El Arenal which had all the facilities but was a little quieter. I can imaging the beach in the warmer weather would be really nice.

The area around the hotel compared to nearby areas were not as clean and friendly. Of an evening you are constantly hounding with drugs sales and men walking alone are handed leaflets for a nearby brothel. El arenal is probably the worst part of spain I’ve been. There is litter and lucky lucky men everywhere. You are bothered in bars and restaurants. It seems more of a location for youngsters partying. If you like architecture and history and quiet relaxing holidays do not come here. I’m 35 and I could not cope with it. Also seems like a same sex couple destination, a lot of Dutch people at the location.

Nice area. Delighted with the length of the promenade as we hired bikes & cycled the 11 kms to Palma. Hope to return at some point. Enjoyed the local tapis bars & restaurants. Beaches were clean & easily accessed.AAnonymous

We had Superior room that is very large and cozy. Stuff was frendly! Food was fine, we always found something for eat. Great location. Beach is near and there is bus station right in front of the hotel. Parking around hotel is mostly free. It was quiet during nights. We did not have any problems and negative experiences (I read some bad reviews, but non of them was true for us). Meet our expectations for 3star hotel.
